Great bar! I stopped by for a nightcap after a afternoon/ evening of sightseeing. Being a female and alone, I was a bit apprehensive about going in, but staff and patrons were friendly and respectful without being too friendly or trying to hit on me. It was a wonderful place to have a drink, I sat by the window overlooking the square.

Called in here during the course of our Llandudno to Tenby charity bike ride. A pub popular with the locals (and rightly so) but nevertheless we felt most welcome. The beer was bang on, and being late on a bank holiday evening, the town's restaurants were shut but the landlord offered to let us eat our takeaways in the bar. The landlord and a couple of the locals gave generous donations to our charity without us even asking. I'd love this to be my local

Called in there on Saturday afternoon for a beer and got totally blanked by the bar staff. We caught her attention but kept ignoring us and serving the regulars on 2 or 3 accasions. We left after standing there for around five minutes.

Nice pub, good service, good beer, cheaper than all the other places in Aberaeron. Log burner warmed us up nicely.
