Fantastic lunch and in beautiful surroundings. Wide menu to suit all budgets. We had scallops to start and one short rib of beef one rack of lamb. Top quality and beautifully presented. That was £30 a head but they do light bites or a two course lunch for £15. Well worth a visit

Had our wedding ceremony at this venue, i cannot reccomend this place enough, the staff were above and beyond, the venue itself was very atmospheric, and for the price we paid, it exceeded what we expected, the rooms were spotless, gardens immaculate, and the food was amazing!. As a hotel traveller, i struggle to see why this place only has 3 stars, it should be 4 or above.

Beautiful settings gardens and driveway
Staff extremely helpful and food was first class
Did what it says crisp white laundry and table settings.
1 small issue stayed in coach house ,room was very small we had a small dog and unfortunately no dogs allowed in the hotel but we managed , would highly recommend.

Old black and white building from some time, probably some 150 years before 1653, when Edward Davis was recorded as living in Maesmawr. Everything just right, and so relaxing. This hotel has a lovely feel, as if, over the ages, people have been happy here.

Lovely country hotel. Great service and a fantastic breakfast each morning. The hotel was close to the wedding I was attending and a really nice place to stop for the weekend.

Very good service, designed for the more mature end of the market. Delightful location even on a rainy day, decor looks designed for weddings. Food was good although it'd be good to see home baked breads and seasonal locally sourced ingredients. Vegetables were rather over cooked for our taste.
