Spilman Hotel

Loved loved loved this hotel. Really friendly and helpful staff, lovely decor, comfy bed, great shower with great pressure. The breakfast was amazing and they were really accommodating. Location close to town and you can easily walk to several eateries for the evening. Thoroughly recommend. Thank you

Great place to stay. Friendly atmosphere, approachable staff and clean rooms. Breakfast is made freshly on request. Parking is a draw back as it has a limited space and narrow entrance. Love to stay again in future.

The best hotel we have been so far during our roadtrip. Clean rooms, very spacious and the breakfast was really well taken care of and made after you order what you want. Our compliments!

Came here in April for one night for a visit to Skanda Vale in the morning. The man at reception was extremely helpful and polite to find the parking (watch the instructions beforehand) and knew we would leave before breakfast so offered us a few things the night before which was really nice of him. Room itself was modern and clean.

Town itself is a bit quiet and dead considering it was Friday night.

I arrived at the hotel far later than planned due to transport problems.
But I was greeted at reception by Ivo who made me feel very welcome.
I made a couple of requests during the booking process through Sophie who was brilliant throughout.
The communication was first class.
Also, I must mention Michelle whose scrambled eggs on toast were out of this world.
The best scrambled eggs on toast I've had for years.

Had a very spacious double room (that's 2 bedrooms with intervening bathroom, toilet!) And free parking. Very nice people. Take the warning about the narrow entrance to its parking area very seriously! Stayed twice now, will happily return when in Carmarthen.

Attending gig in Lyric and we couldn't have chosen a better placed hotel. Right in the middle of town with it's own free and secure car park. Entry to said car park is extremely tight so be careful! There is a video online for best entry.
Receptionist was super friendly and efficient - in fact, all the staff here are fantastic.
Room was lovely, if a little tired in places. Very well equipped with hairdryer, iron, ironing board, tea tray, fridge and toiletries. Down sides - the room was far too warm and noise does tend to carry a bit.
Breakfast is included. Really good selection and very well cooked.
Would definitely stay here again 👍🏻
