Very popular place with the locals with a huge outside seating area and marquee whereby a live band was performing. A small garden bar serving the essential beers & lagers with an indoor bar serving all the rest you'd expect from a pub. Toilet clean but only one so expect to queue ladies. All in all a friendly pub. I didn't order food so I can't comment on that.

Only stopped for a drink but it was pretty good. Plenty of outside seating.
They weren't doing any food that night because it was very busy with a Music festival at the Castle, but there was a concession outside selling take aways.

Really nice friendly pub with b and b. Charming beer garden very well presented, views of Castle on the doorstep, fantastic bar staff, great beer, street food lovely, great atmosphere, nice breakfast, thanks very much 😀

Only went for lunch. Food was lovely and service good. Let down by the toilets. Doors, floors and tiles dirty, old rusty radiator in hand wash area. It wouldn't cost much to improve!

Great if you enjoy authentic historic pub with only a few rooms and uneven floors are part of the charm. Unfortunately we stayed the night the chef had off (elegant italian dining nearby.) Good parking available, and very popular beer garden with live entertainment.

An excellent town pub in the shadow of Chepstow castle. Great staff and atmosphere and a lovely big sheltered garden. It was busy when we visited on a Sunday and very friendly. Live music too, well worth a visit!

The Three Tuns is one of the best pubs around. Service is always good, there's a big range of drinks and now they've also introduced a good food menu. What really makes it is the atmosphere though, the staff aare very friendly and make it a really vibrant and relaxing place to be. There's live music almost every week and they also sell freshly made nibbles on their bar like pork pies and sausage rolls. Its also super dog friendly.
Great all-rounder, can't fault it.

Nice find after our drive about. Lovely warm welcome, we haven’t booked a table for lunch but they were very accommodating and found us a table. We had there roast sharing platter , and OMG what a huge plate full it was to. Not only looked amazing tasted it as well and didn’t pay through the nose either . Five star would definitely recommend and return
