Always the best place for a quiet drink when waiting for the train. Good selection of wines and spirits (beer drinkers have to make do with keg or bottle, but this is definitely somewhere I'd personally drink wine or gin). Pleasant atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Staff are really on the ball as you'd expect in a nice hotel.

As greeted by receptionist she was very warm and welcoming! We got to our room and it was all decorated for my partner’s birthday with a bucket of desperados. Which was perfect. The room it’s self you incredible. The view from the balcony was something else and sitting outside with the sun on us made it even more amazing.
And saving the best thing till last the breakfast was out of this world and I believe everyone should experience if they are staying here. And I’d love to give Andrew a massive shout out for making our stay and my parents birthday one to remember thank you so much xx

Me, my husband and two friends stayed at the hotel for 5 days as part of a group tour. We travelled up by train from London to Swansea and the location was absolutely excellent – the hotel is literally across the road. There is a selection of shops nearby and it is within walking distance of a marina and nice sandy beach

We were given rooms on the second floor – our friends had a bigger room which was nice and although ours was compact, it was fine for the amount of time we spent there. One thing I would say though is that storage space was extremely limited so we did find ourselves struggling for places to hang clothes up. I’d suggest bringing coat hangers as like most other hotels, the room didn’t seem to have many. The room had air conditioning which seemed to work well but it was quite noisy sometimes but the bed was great and very comfortable.

If you stay at the hotel make sure you stay and have the breakfast. The range and quality of the food really is fantastic. The selection of cold food is really well set out and inviting – the fruit is really fresh and there is a great selection of croissants, pastries, breakfast cereals and fruit/yoghurt/granola compotes and that is before you’ve even chosen off the cooked breakfast menu. The range of cooked breakfast options was absolutely amazing – I’ve stayed in lots of different hotels and never seen anything like this before and it all tasted as good as it sounded.

One thing the hotel does have in abundance is amazing and hardworking staff. We got to know a few of them through the week and they truly made our week – Sam, Michael, Sarah, John, Carol, Mikey (in the bar) - everyone was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

Thank you for a really enjoyable stay.

We’ve just come away from the most beautiful afternoon tea we could have imagined. Every single member of staff couldn’t do enough for us they really treated us like family! Your wonderful member of staff(I’m so sorry I didn’t get her name) helped us pull of the best surprise ever she ever waited for my gran to arrive with me. I’m honestly lost for words thank you so much!

Booked afternoon tea for a 90th birthday weeks in advance. The booking is now on Saturday and I am having real trouble sorting out the balance and confirmation. I have had to call them 3 times today and am still no wiser. They are also not refunding the deposit paid by one person who cannot attend as they have Covid. Not great customer service and has put me off booking again in the future.

What a lovely hotel!!! Staff so very welcoming, friendly and accommodating, they were all so lovely.
Location is perfect, right next door to a train station, walking distance to the town centre, shops, restaurants and bars .
So many beautiful places to visit nearby.
Our room was perfect, very clean, had everything we needed, kettle with coffee or tea, a small fridge, hairdryer, shampoo, soap and shower gel.
Our bed was so very comfortable and had a great nights sleep.
Breakfast was a great experience, superb choice of hot or cold items, the welsh breakfast was delicious, you then had a help yourself buffet of fruit, yoghurt, nuts, cereal, croissant and you could request toast. Coffee and tea was plentiful.
Very much look forward to returning
