Not cleanest of hotels, very basic and dated, £150 deposit required on arrival make sure your room is as when arrived or will keep that deposit. Breakfast have to book a slot, tbh not worth value burnt even though made to order. Staying on business but really would not recommend unless just needing a bed for night. Beds uncomfortable and not friendliest of staff housekeeping very rude not hospitable. Coffee and teas cups etc not in rooms have to request at reception. Rooms smelt like dirty toilet water used to clean them

This hotel is a budget hotel but very good value for money.
The bonus for me they accept dogs which was good.
The rooms are comfortable and clean.
The breakfast was very good quality and plenty of choice.
The cooked breakfast it cooked to order which means its nice and hot.
The staff are very cheerful and helpful nothing is to much trouble for them

Stayed here over bank Holiday weekend. Room was basic, twin beds, standard bathroom with shower only. Room looked tired and could do with a freshen up but it was clean and bed was comfy. Breakfast was fantastic. Made to order and good produce. Choice of cereals, fruit, yogurts, toast, muffins, croissants, and jams. Good choice of coffees too. Would definitely stay again.

Not a charming place to stay.
Feels like cave with glass window. No privacy coz of transparent curtains.
Due to time constraints we planned quickly in budget.
Room doesn't feel fresh. As many of you know it smells damp.
£10-20/night is more than sufficient for this quality of maintenance.
Bathrooms not all well maintained.
£18 is exorbitant for basic breakfast. Room size is smaller than a one bedroom apartment.
Since this is the first time in Wales gave it a shot but wouldn't be back.
Never!
We look for some freshness when we are away from home not the smell of a undried clothes lying in washing machine and taken out after a week.
Not sure what is done with all the money we pay for stay.
Basic freshener will do the job.

I GUESS I should have realised you get what you pay for, when booking hotels.

Still though, this place is pretty rubbish.

Plus side:
It's warm, and dry. Also is got a locking door (oooh swish).
There were no OBVIOUS signs of damp.
The one member of staff I met was nice enough.

Negative side:
The room stank of damp the moment we opened the door. Literally the very moment the door was opened damp wafted out.
The TV controller was broken.
The towels were stained.
There was no food available (because "all the kitchen staff had covid" apparently).
We were handed paper cups with sachets of coffee sugar and milk, as the only way to get drinks during our stay.
The reception closed early, so it was impossible to resolve issues.
There was no info given relating to so called "free wifi".
It's in a pretty weird place.
No discount was offered when I complained.

I won't be back.

The room was cold and felt damp. The TV just cuts in and out and the remote was sketchy. The shower was pathetic. On the plus side, the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was absolutely great. The staff, we only met two, were very pleasant.
