I believe this hotel has been taken over by new owners and wanted to give some feedback. First of of all, all of the staff we dealt with were incredibly nice and were so accommodating.

The room was newly refurbished. The bedroom area was clean and the bed was very comfortable with good quality sheets. I would say that the bathroom area needs modernising, but didn’t affect our experience.

We had breakfast included in our stay. The breakfast was rather tasty and well stocked. As a personal preference I didn’t like the scrambled egg, as it had little taste. I suspect a pre mixed bag of eggs is used for ease of cooking.

Overall I would recommend this hotel and consider it good value for money

Parking is very tight for bigger cars.

Positives - Pub:
Good, clean and reasonably priced bar. Dog friendly. Some drinks available on offers. Good drinks available on tap and a good range of spirits and liqueurs. Great amount of seating and brilliantly helpful and staff. Small separate dining area. A few sheltered outdoor benches in the designated smoking area situated in the pub's car park. The car park can accommodate around 12 vehicles. Clean and fresh smelling toilets.

Areas for improvement - Pub:
The floor of the toilet was dangerously slippery when we visited! Sinks were really high which could make had washing challenging for some individuals. Hand sanitiser dispensers were empty.

Positives - Hotel:
Dog friendly rooms. Highly priced for the 'cosy' room which we booked, but decor was lovely, bed was comfy, riser shower had great water pressure and the water ran warm/hot instantly. Kettle, coffee, tea, sugar, milk, sweeteners, bottled water and biscuits were provided in our room. Room was immaculately clean and recently decorated. Multiple plug sockets in the room, including at each side of the bed. Ironing board, towels, hairdryer, hanging rail, light up and heated bathroom mirror provided useful touches. We slept well and the noise from other visitors was very minimal. Staff were delightful and very helpful during our stay.

Areas for improvement - Hotel:
Quite a lot of stairs to climb to access the rooms, which may not be ideal for some visitors. Limited on site parking which could be problematic when the venue is busy. £5 parking charge applies in addition to room booking fee. Pets charged at £5 each per night.

A nice cosy hotel in the centre of Haverfordwest, excellent value for money as the room was clean, comfortable and possessed everything I needed for my short stay. I particularly liked having tea/coffee making facilities in the room alongside bottles of water as well.
Suggestions for improvement:
- Add a small shelf in the bathroom for travellers toileteries etc.
- Update your website to reflect that breakfast costs £6.5 and not £5

Wandered in for a few drinks while out with friends. Rooms around 60 quid a night and recently refurbished. Bar staff friendly and decent range of beer

Such a shame to give this review as a lot of staff were amazing and friendly. Arrived here with my partners 91 year old father. We were on 2nd floor and no lifts. We struggled daily to get his dad up and down but most staff were very helpful. Breakfast was great value room was big, such friendly bar staff. On our day of departure we were shocked by the way a lady staff member think the manager with long brown hair shouted across the bar at us in front of customers (so unprofessional) had we smoked in the room .we assured we hadn't and to ask the night porter as he saw us go to the car most evening to have a smoke. She showed my partner there was cig burns in net curtain and Ash on the floor to which again could of been there before as we were going to the car. She told my partner its OK not to worry then. So yesterday they have taken 50 pound off my card for smoking 😡..this put a downer on our last day to which we were approached shouting from the bar rather than pull us aside to ask us. No people skills at all. Would have given this place 4 stars and only loss of 1 star for no lift until this incident 😡
