A wonderfully quiet place just a few miles outside Swansea. It's hard to believe you're that close to Swansea, Mumbles, and so many other great places to visit on Gower because you feel as if you're miles from any town.
The barn conversion is very well done, with beautiful Oak frame construction, high end design in the bathrooms and kitchen. Plenty of space for a large family or two couples with up to three kids between them. More than enough leather sofas to relax on after your dinner (or before) and enjoy the glow of the very efficient and modern fireplace or watch TV or DVDs.
The beds are nice and firm (like new) without being hard, and the sheets are wonderfully smooth and soft. I particularly adore the snazzy pillow and foot throw material design on the beds that is carried up to the blinds in the two main bedrooms because it reminds me of boiled sweets. You're sure to get a really good night's rest in the darkness and quiet of the countryside.
I good size porch area means walking boots, jackets, and other outdoor gear can stay out of your living area. It's all well thought out and designed.
All the necessary conveniences are available from iron and ironing board to dishwasher and washing machine.
We had the pleasure of meeting the owners on our last visit (our second time). I have no doubt we'll be back again and look forward to it already, having only just returned home.
