Homeclean London Central

I don't really write reviews but after unsuccessful stints with other agencies I could not, not! Home clean have consistently provided me with very good cleaners. I had one for about 9 months initially and have had a number of other ones since. Flexible with timings and great at dealing with the logistics of a busy schedule!

I have had my house cleaned by Homeclean for a few months now and cannot fault their cleaning or professionalism, along with their manner. Lovely people who love what they do and consistently do a great job. I would highly recommend.

Homeclean did a great job, cleaned my entire house whilst I was out for the day. Sent a text message to say they had done. I think the amazing clean they did for the price was great. I have since moved, however I have recommended to friends who are now also using Homeclean.

The office staff are very pleasant and the first cleaner I had was great but returned home to Eastern Europe after about six weeks. I then had a succession of the worst cleaners I have ever come across and I don't have high standards. In fact, you can't really call them cleaners as that would suggest they know how to clean a home; they don't. I came back to find tables not wiped down, beds with the covers dragged up any old how, couches with the cushions chucked on in a haphazard fashion. Bathrooms hadn't been cleaned (they wiped around bottles etc rather than pick them up and wipe underneath), the floor under sofas and tables not cleaned etc etc. It was dreadful. I called the office twice asking them not to send anyone to me who didn't have a reputation as a very good cleaner and said I could wait indefinitely for this. This was to no avail. The next cleaner(s) were as bad as they ones before them. In the end I gave up on getting the cleaner to clean the whole of my flat and said for them just to do the kitchen, bathroom, empty the bins and do the floors. Even that was too much of an ask. Two weeks in a row I came back to find the bath not touched. They also bunked off early: I left as 12.30 and when I got back at 2, she'd been and gone despite my paying for a two hour slot. And the bath was dirty. I'm pleased for the people who've had a good experience with this company. I wish I could recommend them but I 100% can't.

Had one cleaner with them for years and they were ok, then they recently chose to give me a new cleaner... who on the first visit damaged goods in the flat and then on the second (was meant to be free of charge to make up for some of the damage) left the keys at another property without attending. I was left over £300 out of pocket and HomeClean (London) told it was my problem. No refunds, no responsibility taken, so I am left wondering what their fees cover.

I would avoid using them, unless you have money spare and don't value your possessions.

Truly horrible customer service. My cleaner was booked for 11:30 and arrived at 1pm. The agency called me several times to ask me if she had arrived - they had nothing by way of update or apology. After the cleaner finished, I was told to wait for an invoice. The cleaner spent the next 24 hours harassing me to pay her directly and the agency provided no further information regarding invoices. When I reached out to them, they told me this was standard proceeding and did nothing to prevent the cleaner from calling me and texting me. Will not use this service again. Truly terrible communication and management.

I've used Homeclean for a number of years, and recommend the company to my friends. The customer service is excellent and very helpful, the cleaners vary from very competent to less experienced but Homeclan make an effort to find a cleaner that suits my needs.
