My experience with Havebury has been nothing but positive. Maybe it because I was used to renting privately and waiting forever to get repairs sorted, but I have no complaints at all. My boiler broke down on Christmas Eve and I had someone out to sort it later that evening. It cut out again on Good Friday and someone was there within the hour. I had an issue in the shower room and someone popped out to visit within a couple of days.

I have a beautiful ground floor flat and a communal garden. Goodness knows how much it would have cost me to rent privately. It was very much a blank canvas when I got here. The floors were bare concrete and I am decorating the rooms as and when I can.

I was previously a house owner and am used to unblocking my own sinks and minor jobs like that so maybe I am lucky in that I can do quite a lot myself. Having said that, we had a major issue with blocked drains recently (due to residents flushing away things they shouldn’t). It was dealt with the following day and a broken drain cover was replaced within a day or so.

The staff have done all they can to make me welcome and I am immensely grateful for their support during a very difficult time of my life.

Scaffolding left unused blocking my kitchen window for 3 months, now more scaffolding completely blocking the sun at my main living room window for another month. I am left in the dark during summer not being able to open my windows with my plants dying for absolutely no reason. Get organised and take this scaffolding down!

Their website doesn't work properly to pay rent. I need to do it many times until the payment goes through. Already for few months I feel stressed and mad when I need to pay, because it's always a challenge.

Tell me the previous applicant is unaffordable, take 3 days off work arranging docs to then be told someone else has been given the property!! Absolutely awful service from start to finish

I’ve lived in a Havebury house, and a housing association house. I can say, without a shadow of a doubt that Havebury is the superior landlord. Any issues, they’re out, same day if necessary. Highly recommend

Can't fault them, every repair gets fixed, repiar guys are always on it with the jokes and banter, keeping it friendly

Deal with any issues and nuisance reports, speak to the parties involved

After renting privately from a, quite frankly, slumlord landlord who took 6 months to deal with issues by throwing me out, it makes refreshing change to have everything sorted within a matter of days
