Holgates Ice Cream Shop

Really unusual ice cream that was beautiful, staff were happy to explain the process and to allow us to test a flavour to ensure we liked it. Lovely place with great views!!

We have been coming here for years, my husband bought me here when we were camping nearby and he absolutely loves the honey ice cream. His all time favourite! When we visit we have to come here more or less every other day of our holiday and he will sometimes even buy 2 ice creams for himself per visit! I usually try the other flavours which have all been fab. I've even met the bear in the past too 🐻 big kid at heart!

Probably could do with some seating outside and more bins.

Most yummy ice cream I've tried, the honey flavour was lovely and not expensive either. Plenty of parking and toilets on site.

They make the best ice cream I've ever had. Honey ice cream and it comes in several flavours. They usually sell a range of jams and marmalade and sweets and energy bars, but on my last visit (October 2022) the shop was empty and the cafe closed. All that was for sale was ice cream. For some bizarre reason they have stopped taking cash, it's card only now regardless of how little you buy.

Gorgeous ice cream, plus one for Dudley dog. Would recommend 👌🏻
