I have had a bad experience with this company and nobody has taken responsibility yet.

I contracted the service at the beginning of the month and they did not contact me after three weeks to confirm that they were waiting for my motorcycle when I paid for the collection. this meant an extension of an additional month to the 5 weeks of the process.

Communication by emaill / phone very poor, do not answer the emails or do not give me the correct information.

terrible transport of my vehicle to the warehouse, pressed too much the chassis pressing the suspension to the maximum, I am pending to take the vehicle to BMW to do a check of the fork.

I contacted My Car Import after researching online and reading some of these reviews. Was looking to move back from Hong Kong to UK and bring my car with me as I did a lot of modifications, and maintenance plus the KM are low compared to UK cars. Will, Phil, and Alex have been great through the whole process of initial discussions, answering my many questions, and guiding me through the process. As part of the UK's transfer or residence TOR scheme, you can import your own vehicle tax free which was another incentive to bring my cherished car back with me. MCI were always professional, knowledgable and have been established for many years doing this service all over the world. I chose to drive up to Castle D to collect my car once it was ready, and it was a smooth process from pick up in Hong Kong, to collection in UK. Thank you to the team, and wish you all the best.

One little area from improvement for me : I guess there's commercial roles where employees are here just to sell, but there could be a little bit more direct communication to explain what's going to happen. After all, it's a nice amount of money we spend :)

Service absolutely appalling. Very quick to take deposit without providing itemized invoice/estimate. They promise to take care of everything: pick up, testing, registration and return but then they try to charge extra for returning your vehicle. And it all takes ages - months to be precise and guess what: it's not their fault. Do not deal with Jack or anybody for that matter because they will rip you off.

I cannot recommend MyCarImport enough. I brought my car with me from France, and I had tried to do the paperwork myself but I quickly found myself out of my depth. I discovered MyCarImport and I wish I had known about them from the beginning. They were professional and understanding at all times, they did what they said they would, not one single problem with the whole process. I loved the online portal, it was easy and all of my emails were answered. I had a very pleasant few hours in their waiting room while the modifications were done. It was quiet, comfortable, clean and had everything I needed to make my wait as inconvenient as possible. My new number plates arrived a few weeks later. I am grateful to them for taking the stress out of this part of the move.
