No etiquette or consistency think had 4 or 5 different servers. Quite brash unsocial rude individuals. Requested drinks very slow service haphazardly served then missing table water which asked for first. Table water then glasses thrown down by uppity waiter in distain. Poor communication. Very busy under staffed. Serving off street take out people others no priority no clue what stage each table at. Asked for bill several times. No one new what they were doing. No customer service or experience not 1 of waiters engaged spoke smiled made and effort of contact. No apologies no thank you no manners. Oddly ran place. Left disappointed as a family birthday only 5 of us yet slow drinks slow mains no atmosphere no ambience

Food reasonable - typical of provincial Indian restaurant. Immaculately clean but also rather dark inside. Waiting staff perfunctory and can be curt. Has someone we guessed to be a manager who is DEFINITELY NOT CHILD FRIENDLY, claimed other tables complained about our children and then issued us with a thinly veiled threat regarding them, PUTTING A COMPLETE DAMPENER ON WIFE'S BIRTHDAY OUTING. Thinks its much better and more important than it is - seems to have confused 'fine dining' with 'village curry house'. Atmosphere sterile at best - no joy d'vivre - is 'in, eat, pay, out'. Have been several times over the last few years and is not as good as it was even just a couple of years back. Got 2 stars as food reasonable and place is clean. However, not a pleasant experience, is unlikely will return.

Edit. Restaurant took SIX YEARS to reply to our review, and then claimed it was a fake. It isn't, we've never been back, we won't be going back, and the Village Spice in the centre of Buckby is much better anyway 😂

Our manager gets a takeaway from Voujon almost every week and was therefore desperate for us to try it; we were not disappointed!

The food tasted fresh and had the right amount of spice for someone of Indian descent, which is always nice. The portions were also generous and three adults each ate a starter and main course for under £70.

The location is slightly out of the way, particularly if you do not have your own car, but the restaurant itself is very good and extra points as well for focusing on taste rather than dunking everything in oil.

First time eating at Voujon since recently moving back down Northamptonshire to a neighbouring village. Service was very quick and plenty of options to choose from on the menu.

I opted for the Aloo Chaat to start and à very delicious Lamb madras, pilau rice and plain naan for a main. Portions were very well sized, the Aloo Chaat was absolutely delicious quite frankly. Aromatic and moorish with the right amount of garnish. The madras (chennai) was not overly spicy for my palate, but plenty of flavour.

Will definitely pop in again for a meal!

Lovely food, regular prices and very friendly staff. Really enjoyed our meal. If there had been some music, candles or lower lighting that would have felt a little more relaxing and maybe even romantic but the lights were on full blast and the two of us were sat at a table for 7 or 8 which felt a bit overwhelming but also amusing so we did have a bit of a laugh about it ☺ would définit go back to peruse more of the menu.
The green chillies were very fresh and juicy 🌶😋

Had booked a meal for 11 people at 7.30pm tonight 21.12.22. Arrived and was told there was no table for us. Showed them the confirmation email and was told rudely ‘yes that’s our email address but there’s no table, what do you want me to do about it?’ So incredibly rude and unhelpful. We booked this two months ago!
After trying to figure out options with the very unhelpful member of who, quite frankly, couldn’t have been less enthusiastic if he had tried, We managed to get a table in a neighbouring village with great food and service. Would not recommend Vujon but would highly recommend Brinjol in Weedon.

Voujon Wednesday night special...Starter, main, Naan and shared side for a great price. Food fresh and authentic. Great friendly service and we often get takeaways as well. Best Indian around.
