Spice Magic Restaurant

A restaurant that is well designed and pleasant to the eye. The service is polite and professional and the food is of good quality and enjoyable.

My last couple of takeaways were disappointing, but tonights will be the last. Chicken Madras (my usual) with pilau rice. When I was serving it, I was shocked how little chicken there was. I telephoned to complain immediately, and was told that 8 pieces of chicken is given. There was 8 microscopic pieces! More like a child's portion. So much sauce it resembled a soup. When I said that I wouldn't use the restaurant again, I was offered another Madras. I accepted this but after
arriving home I found 4 pieces of chicken in some sauce. Never again.

Great curry house with good staff and good menu.
Feel bad for putting this here but isnt cleanest of places. There was a dead moth in our poppadoms which was a shame.
Would have been 5 star otherwise

I ordered a takeaway for collection. Service was prompt, communication was good and the butter chicken with sides was lovely with subtle flavours. Will order again.

Terrible experience every time ordering delivery. Placed order at 6:15 and told that the order would take 50 minutes. Called up multiple times over the next 2 hours and constantly told it was out for delivery. I eventually called up to cancel and I was guaranteed I would get a call from the manager to handle it (never got a call from them and never got a refund). Food then turned up 20 minutes later and the delivery driver said he had picked it up less than 15 ago. I then got an email after 10pm saying the delivery was just going out.

This has happened multiple times. They lie to you and don't give a toss. Don't order delivery from here.

The Spice Magic, is a local jem, food is cooked in an authentic way, very highly recommend, never been disappointed.

Ordered takeaway on a Tuesday night. Food was very good - however delivery was over an hour late, the order was missing one main, poppadums were smashed to pieces, lamb pasanada had five small pieces of lamb only. We called the restaurant to advise that there was missing food - the restaurant did not care or could not understand the complaint!

Unfortunately will not be ordering from here again.

Had a good night In Spice Magic tonight,the food was excellent and there was plenty of it. The staff were very friendly and helpful and attentive which in many places is an issue. Would recommend def for a night curry if you're in the mood.
