The potato with spinach was off. The prawn curry smelt off. The naan bread was like it had been sitting there in their restaurant for days. Nothing was fresh and we actually binned all the food.

Spur of the moment decision to eat out after long week at work. Dined here before and it was always excellent. Not this time though. The restaurant was busy and there was one group of about 50 people who showed zero respect or concern for other diners. Noise was off the scale. They were shouting at the top of their voices and running up and down the bench seats. The sort of behaviour you might expect from kids but they were adults many of whom were middle aged. Stuck with it for half an hour with glass of wine and some poppadoms but with the noise increasing we had to get our meal packed up for takeaway after the management just laughed when we asked them to get the noise dealt with. Night out turned into night in!!!!! Will not return.

I ordered a selection of food for delivery. The service is outstanding. The Tandoori dishes and breads are excellent particularly the prawn Tandoori. The classic curries are just right with an authentic taste of spices. Great selection of food to choose from with the added benefit of deciding how hot you want the dish. You can expect the price to be fair for what you get, the portion size is good too. What I found particularly impressive is the service I received, helpful, kind and friendly, with delicious food. I'll definitely order again.

Went on a sunday evening. The food, atmosphere, service and the experience in general was okay as you would expect but not anything wow or amazing to be honest.

Food delivered promptly and the quality was excellent. We've eaten in Royal Bengal many times and only ordered food delivery because of lockdown. Impressed that the food tasted just as good! Polite service and the website ordering is easy. Would recommend this place.
