Blue Water Indian Restaurant

We have had a takeaway a few times from blue water when we visit my mum. Its always been excellent. The prawn puree was fantastic and we did appreciate them putting the puree seperatly so it did not get soggy.

Absolutely lovely food. We have intolerances in our house and always note these on the order and several times have had calls to check what dishes had our allergies and if they did, they offered to make a different fresh dish. Cannot complement them enough. Food always delivered hot and have tried a lot of dishes off the menu (Vegan, Main and Starters).

How very disappointing. We read the reviews and thought we'd get a good curry. But there was little spice in either the chicken tikka balti or the chicken tikka curry. Part of the starter was missing (poppadoms) and there was only one Chapatti. The one item that was good was the pilau rice. Really can't recommend this take away based on this meal.

UPDATE: Quite impressed that within minutes of posting my review I got a call from the restaurant. It was made clear that the issue with the chaptti and poppadoms was a misunderstanding on my part. So I can only reiterate, as I did on the call, that the main courses were disappointly bland.

The best restaurant ever. The staff are amazing. The food is out of this world. Could not recommend enough.

Starter took over 30 minutes to arrive, lacked taste. Main course, house curry was good.

Came with 12 others so we were quite a large booking which always can be nerve-wracking as your not always guaranteed good service. The staff here were great and the food was superb! Didnt have big wait times and there wasn't much food leftover from anyone. really well reasonably priced too. Would recommend.

Sorry but extremely disappointing,one meal even had to be sent back as it was not edible . . . .lack of flavour and just awfull all round never again.

Only had takeaways from here previously but decided to treat ourselves. Hadn't booked but there was room for us early on a Wednesday evening in December. Lively atmosphere and the young staff were very helpful and attentive.
Really good choice on the menu of all Indian dishes and also a few surprises.
Excellent value for money and very tasty.
