Our relative brought us to have an Indian cuisine dinner here. The food is quite nice. The environment is cosy and the staff here is quite attentive and helpful. Likes the poppadom, the grilled goat cheese and grilled prawn (can’t recall the dishes name) here

When it comes to a good spice and flavour The Popadom Asian cuisines delivered a rich and tasty curry. I would definitely recommend. Just tell the waiter your preferences. You won’t be disappointed.

I know that this restaurant has been around a long time so I was expecting a quality Indian, but was let down .it took a lot longer than quoted to arrive my wife said that the chicken tikka was nice my daughter got one to she said I was alright(chicken tikka is not something you can get wrong). it is meant to come with a salad which was a tiny portion for two tikka’s.My keema rice was at best minimal in lamb content no taste the jalfrezi was not much better. The ladies fingers Saag aloo were bland .Was looking forward to this meal as I have not had a curry for a while disappointed.

Don’t be fooled by the good reviews! Extremely cramped and appalling service. I was seated by the entrance and had people walking into me as they entered the restaurant, I’ve felt more relaxed and comfortable sitting on a packed tube train. Food was okay, chicken was rather tough and naan bread extremely dry.

Service was shockingly bad, waited 25 mins to get the bill before going up and asking and then waiting a further 10 minutes.

Finally got the bill after 35 minutes of waiting.

Very disappointed, would not recommend. From my experience this restaurant is extremely overrated. Wouldn’t surprise me if a lot of the reviews are fake.

The last time I ate here was many years ago,but I'd been given good reports and they'd given the place a revamp,so gave it another try
It was cold outside and walking into the warm restaurant things started on a good note, however word of warning, due to being fairly busy with takeaways, every time the door opened a chill wind blew through. On a positive note the prices are very reasonable and that includes the wine list.Inside it is very cramped, wouldn't recommend 4 people of above normal size at one table.
The food is ok, nothing more, nothing less,I can't say it wasn't good, but there are places I'd use before this one.
Paid the bill and as the service was ok along with the food and drink, decided I would leave a tip, however I'd like my change first before deciding how much,no change forthcoming,so I'm afraid I'll not be returning.

Outstanding restaurant!!! The food was absolutely amazing, cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. I went for the sizzling house special and highly recommend it.The Bombay potatoes were also very nice. The restaurant is small but very nice and clean with a good atmosphere. Staff are very friendly and prices are good for London. I don't don't work these ways very often but the next time I am I will definitely come back 👌🏻

Our favourite restaurant ever. Every time we call The Poppadom we ask for dish recommendations, and they do not disappoint! Last night we were served 3 unique dishes tailored specially to our cravings! Absolutely gorgeous food, very reasonable prices and brilliant staff. Would recommend to everyone 😄

Despite this being my nearest Indian, this was the first time I'd ever been there, and I will definitely be visiting again. The food is excellent, the Staff are friendly and look after you, plus it's well priced. Would definitely recommend.
