If you are in the mood for tasty Indian food, but don't want to empty out your pockets this is the place to eat.
They make the most delicious chicken pakora in whole London, but there are also some other dishes you should definitely try out, in fact you might as well try everything as it all tastes amazing.
The decor there isn't something special, but after all I consider this place to be a take away one, so it doesn't really matter. The important thing is that they work in a very clean and well kept environment so you don't have to worry about the quality of your food.

One of our very favourite restaurants. Great food, really friendly team, immeasurable patience answering the same questions about the dishes over and over. Great old fashioned Indian family business.

Old school tasty Indian. Like the food you would get served at a big Indian family gathering. Staff are wonderful, they don't serve alcohol but you can bring your own. Try it.

Doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the quality of the food and the produce used is fantastic - a very obvious step up from other local Indian restaurants. The staff are super nice and work hard to make sure you enjoy your meal. I really hope they do well!

Lovely people, genuinely good food, and will go off menu to accommodate . They may not serve alcohol but readily accept you bringing your own. Convenience store two doors away

Elahee is a real time capsule to ‘old’ Hornsey, before the gentrification settled in. Family owned, this place is a BYOB and the service is always excellent, friendly and engaging. The food is so good in fact that me and my partner almost always order the same thing. This is not a swish and sparkling fancy restaurant but a local place with an excellent reputation and very reasonable prices, there’s a reason that the locals always go back!! Best Indian in North London hands down.

This is a small local restaurant. My friend and I visited on a Friday evening and it was surprisingly empty. The food was excellent. The papadams were fresh and crisp, which is always the first test. The chicken sandal was just right: plenty of chicken in a sauce that was spicy without being ridiculously so. The staff are friendly and the prices low: £45 for four papadams, two starters, two main courses, two rice's, one vegetable, one naan, two ice creams and three soft drinks. The only downside - apart from the emptiness - was that it doesn't have a licence.

Amazing quality, great taste, better value.

We got "some" takeaway and had a feast, twice.

Sadly they're changing over to something else and this is not available any more to enjoy for us :(
