If you like it hot spice levels come in dry, hot & spicy,
Of note; full chili's are thrown (not deseeded) in a few of the dishes. Overall great experience 👍
If you are a first-time visitor going for buffet and wish to avoid disappointment, kindly read the entire review.
My husband and I decided to visit the restaurant for the Sunday lunch buffet after reading so many positive comments and reviews.
As I saw people raving about the Sunday lunch buffet, I was excited and hopeful. Our eyes were drawn to six chafing dishes in the buffet area as soon as we took our seats. I thought the chafing dishes were just for starters and that the main course would be served separately. I was disappointed to discover that those six chafing dishes were for non-veg starters and main courses, including rice.
Buffets are supposed to be full of variety. There was no variety.
Below are the total number of items in the buffet:
Veg starters: Not-so-fresh onion bhaji and vegetable samosa
Non-veg starter: overcooked tandoori chicken coated with artificial red colour
Veg mains: Saag aloo, Pindi chana, and Mixed vegetable
Non-veg mains: keema aloo, butter chicken, and chicken balti
Rice dish: Only pulao
Sides: papadom and salad
THERE WERE NO DESSERTS,
NO YOGHURT or RAITA
NO LIVE COUNTER
NO CHAAT
NO CHINESE ITEMS
For 3-4 items, I don't believe it's worth spending 15 pounds per person.
Most terrible buffet I have eaten in my entire life.
I would recommend at least one visit for sure for food lovers there is always more than what you expect.
Once again thanks Haweli guys for making our evening joyful.
Booked online using Google booking.
When we arrived i showed the booking but doesn't seem they prepared the table for us.... No spoons no water. Anyway
We ordered papadom with chatni , chicken tikka & tandoori chicken in starters.
For main course we went for tapeli chicken and Naan.
Everything came at the same time which is not what we expect. Starter followed by main is what i prefer. I had really high hopes from this restaurant but both the starters were not tasty.
In main course tapeli chicken went totally wrong as what we had was puerly turmeric for every bite of food yes too much of turmeric.
In the whole dining experience what i liked is Papadom and Cobra beer that i order to have with starter.
I hope that is not everyday case and may be our bad day....
