Dilshad Restaurant & Takeaway

Not as good as I was expecting, although a wonderful interior, tidy and clean, impressively friendly staff, great plates, lovely beer. I found out more of a place to take my girlfriend rather than to socialise with a friend or two.

First visit here. Very impressed. Great food, great atmosphere and friendly, chatty staff. Hope to visit again very soon.

Ordered from here for the first time after deciding to use a different Indian to our usual. Both my partner and myself were very impressed with the standard, quality and portion size of the food. Will be using again. A small error was also quickly rectified. We ordered a small desert which was not delivered initially, however without the need to chase the restaurant the driver returned 10 minutes later with the desert. The total delivery time was perhaps a little longer than usual but we take a view that we don't mind waiting for good food...which we both agree was delicious.

Wonderful food and really friendly staff only complaint is we had to wait till we'd nearly finished our meal before our drinks arrived after asking three time. Give them credit though it was extremely busy. Would recommend anytime. Fabulous.

Usually use this service but after spending £25 last night I was absolutely shocked with the food. Lamb was like eating cardboard and my partners chicken tikka wasn’t even cooked. Embarrassment the food you gave us . We will never use you again.. in a rush clearly to close ??? Don’t mug customers off.

Outstanding Restaurant.

I've been all over, to many different Indian Restaurants all over the country. And I cant stress enough how this is still my absolute favourite. The staff are incredibly helpful and welcoming. Food is excellent quality, generous portion and cooked to your liking. We went for my dads 70s birthday, the staff couldn't do enough for you.

Still the best in the country in my opinion. Thank you to the staff at the dilshad for making my father's evening a memorable and special one 💙

A lovely restaurant serving Indian and a selection of English dishes. The food is excellent as is the service from all of the staff. I've been here twice now and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a very pleasant evening eating excellently prepared and presented food. You can also, if you wish, take in your own drinks.

Had a takeaway 24.07.21. Usually I've always had good service but tonight very different. Delivery took 90 mins instead of 1 hour. Got charged £2.00 delivery(spent £34) even though it was over the £10 limit for free delivery. Also got charged 50p to order a mild korma even thought this is what it is originally. Not happy tonight, feel very let down.
