Spice Lounge Restaurant

We love Indian food and this place had great reviews and was walking distance from The Riverside B&B. It did not disappoint. Started off with a Sparkling Mango and Sparkling Lychee Spritzers (non-alcoholic but so refreshing). I don’t like coriander so they were great about honoring that request. I had the Naga channa with chicken (spicy tomato based sauce with chickpeas). So good! My family had the chicken tiki masala. Also very tasty. Lots of yummy sauce for dipping naan or putting over rice. Could have died for the naan. Polished it off with the saffron ice cream (unusual but very tasty). They are a super friendly local business and the customer service was fantastic!!

First time here. Food was amazing and very well presented. Best Indian cuisine I have had in a long time. Definitely will go back. My favorite thing was the Tandoori Lamb Chops. If you have never dined in an Indian restaurant, there is a bit of a fragrance inside the establishment that (in my opinion) enhances the dining experience.

Only our 2nd time here. Great food (recommend the Kum Keema and Bombay Lamb). Great friendly staff.

One of the best Indian restaurants in the area. A mix of authentic and chef specials all served with quick and well looked after service.

Our go to for Indian food without a doubt

First time take out for us from this restaurant as we like to support local businesses. The food was tasty and service good, but unfortunately all of the items we ordered were overcooked which included chicken, lamb and fish which spoilt it. Hopefully that was a one off but the restaurant should be made aware of this so that they can correct it. Not sure if the food was pre made and reheated which could have contributed to this. Will give it another try before drawing a line under it.

Last minute booking for dine-in, lucky to get a table as it was earlier in the evening. Food was lovely, spiced nicely and emphasis was on the flavour rather than spice for heat. Will definitely return.

Amazing food and really good chaps working there

Had takeaway from here before and it has been excellent every time. Decided to have a sit down meal for the first time and it was lovely. Definitely highly recommended.
