Nandon

We are regular customers of Nandon, and as ever, the food is glorious! Authentic cuisine, delivered in a timely fashion and with great service. Eating in is just as good, the service from the staff is always fantastic. I can’t praise the food enough, we are very lucky to have this restaurant and takeaway in our small town. Thank you.

A regular haunt for us, always very pleasant down to earth staff. Always a good meal and will advise on dishes and heat strength. Also had a dish off the main menu, as we always used to prefer a certain dish, but variety is definitely the spice of life!

Excellent! Lovely Punjabi Curry & Chicken Tikka Biryani ordered online & delivered promptly. It must have been a bad day when I placed the previous order. Service & quality was was what I normally expect from Nandon for todays order. Thank You

They really struggled to get our telephone order correct today. Normally we use the online system & have it delivered by Ben without a problem, but as we were in town thought we would place a telephone order to collect. Firstly, told it's cash only when we have always paid by card in the past. Our order was a simple one, Special Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Tikka Bhuna & Nandon Special Rice. On collection we were given ordinary Chicken Tikka Masala in place of the Bhuna, ok mistakes happen, but we were challenged that it was our mistake & not theirs. On agreeing to correct the order, we took it home only to discover it has now been replaced with a Chicken Tikka Balti, not Bhuna! We tried to call to advise of the problem over the phone, but got the answer machine. Frustrated we will have to vote with our feet & spend with another restaurant in town for a while.

Oh, & the card machine was in the shop & working, so not sure what the cash only thing was about?

Had a take away from Nandon last night and it was excellent. My husband said it was very good, better than our other favourite curry house, he had the Railaway Curry. Will definitely be returning.

Visited Nandon on Saturday night with my partner and our 18 month old, we took his booster seat to put onto a normal chair as no working highchairs available which didn't bother us. The food was absolutely phenomenal, I didn't take any photos as we ate it so quickly, our son was made to feel so welcome, the staff constantly engaged with him and couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely be back!

Superb food, fresh produce and some great traditional Indian dishes. They are clearly passionate about their dishes and they will tailor the heat to your liking. It is great to have such a great restaurant delivering wonderful food. Can’t praise them highly enough!

Really fresh, tasty curry - highly recommend the hot and sour curry dish. The waiter was really accommodating and friendly, helping us with choosing dishes for ourselves and children. Fast, efficient service. Thank you!

Had dinner tonight, party of 8. Absolutely brilliant, staff and service were great and everyone's food was delicious, poppadoms, naans, rice and main dishes. Also 3 people had allergies and staff knew exactly what was in all dishes and advised accordingly. Picked up the takeaway menu on way out, will definitely be using that and eating in again too
