UPDATE...dine-in service has been suspended. Fantastic menu choices, plenty of vegetarian options and great value too. Have friends who drive from Wells just for a takeaway, which tells you exactly how good the food is. Eating in is an enjoyable experience too. Have always found the staff to be friendly, polite and professional.

Not sure what happened on our night, normally very good but we was rushed through the whole meal. Went in a 7.30pm and not busy but it felt as if they wanted us out. Food didn't taste as good and for some reason it felt very cramped on the tables as if they had shrunk. I have been a few times and always been good but not sure if I will go again for a while now

I spent an overnight stay in Shepton Mallet Sunday 28th August 2022. My daughter, granddaughter and I decided that Indian was the collective dinner choice. My granddaughter has a severe nut allergy. We had a chat with the staff and they advised which dishes were safe and having chosen what she wanted, they cooked it separately to ensure there was no chance of nuts being near it/her. They were very friendly and extremely helpful.
If you are ever in the area and fancy a really good meal this is the place for you.

Had a set meal for one, good value for money, very disappointed though with chicken masala, very red in colour, tasted more like a korma, sweet and loads of coconut no spice at all

My friend and I were recommended this restaurant last night by our hotel host so we had high hopes. Firstly the food was sped out to us at a rate of knots and we were the only people in there. Food seemed OK but as I said came out a little too quick for my liking, especially as we were still eating the last of the poppadoms when the main course came out.
We were told promptly after the meal that they were closed now so we left and unfortunately didn't finish our drinks.
Nows the awful bit.. I woke up at 3am with terrible cramps and sickness /diarrhoea soon ensued.
I was throwing up til 7am and had to check out later that morning. It's totally spoiled our last day and we had to come straight home .
Not a happy bunny and still feel rotten.

Sadly booked to eat on New Year's Eve. They were too busy to provide any form of customer service, and we had to wait over one hour and twenty minutes before the food arrived. The food was delicious, but by trying to deal with too many customers more was lost than gained. There were many complaints about time waiting and service not only from restaurant customers, but from take away customers. I have eaten before on New Year's Eve but have never encountered such an awful experience. If and when I go again, it will be on a much quieter evening and hoping that their usual good customer service is resumed.
