We were a group of people who know how Indian food should be cooked and should taste. We are sad to report that we were extremely disappointed with the food quality, taste, and portion size. Onion bhajis were undercooked, samosas must’ve been from a packet, the salad was not fresh, garlic chicken tikka was watery, and that was just the starters. As for the mains; portions were tiny, the lamb was not cooked properly and flavourless, the chicken dishes had the same sauce base with minimal flavour or over spiced and there were whole garlic cloves in the daal. Do not recommend and we won’t be eating there again. Only saving grace was the lovely waiting staff who were accommodating and pleasant and interacted with us - thank you! The owner, however did not speak to us, but spoke to the other tables, he said bye once we had paid the bill, but failed to realise that it would have been better to make a good impression from the start!

Good location good parking extremely clean and nice decor. FOOD SUPERB with good friendly service. Toilets although very good lacked disabled facility, difficult to access them with wheelchair

My Mother and I have had a wonderful meal at the Darjeeling Indian Restuarant, in Whaplode. The owner and staff were most welcoming, with excellent service and cuisine. My mother is local were as I traveled from Kent. The food was as good as any I've eaten in my local eateries in Kent. . . Would recommend to locals and visitors alike. . . . 5⭐️+

Used them last night as gurkha oven wasn't doing takeaways and what a huge mistake that was. Shocking service, waited 2hrs for good, when it arrived portion sizes were half the plastic containers and tasted nothing like traditional Indian food. Rice was dry and burnt, butter chicken was nothing more than sloppy rice with chicken thrown in. All the dishes were only half filled containers, unlike other Indian takeaways in the area, and Definitely not worth the 2hr wait for it. Won't use them again. Last night guests and ourselves were unwell only hrs after eating this. Definitely don't recommend using them as by far the worse Indian takeaway that I've had
