Lovely meal with six of us there, fairly big portions, a good amount of food. One of us asked for the food to be spicier and it was delivered well. Waiting time was about 25 minutes. A nice ambience there.

Had the chicken Biryani Which was superb. All meals in our party were excellent. Attentive staff, great buzz and weren't rushed. Would highly recommend.

Gorgeous curry. We had a selection of beef and lamb curries with naans and pilau rice and all were delicious. Cobra on draught. Pickle tray and poppadoms. Between four of us it was £25 each including tip for beer/pickle/poppadom/curry/rice/naan. Good value for the quality.

Loved Kyber Pass but had not tried food from the Spice Club until tonight.
What a disappointment! 😞
Takeout order was wrong. 4 naan breads wrong.
Currys and rice had no flavour at all.
Everyone left most of theirs.
We gave it a go but will go back to Rajdhaani in Kneesall who also deliver.
What a shame!

If I were to paraphrase Douglas Adams, my two word review of Khyber Pass would be "mostly average".

Khyber Pass isn't a bad restaurant, it's just a long way from great.

The food is inconsistent. One time you might order a Lamb Pasander and it's fairly mild. The next time it'll be really spicy.

Sometimes we get abundant, well nicely cooked poppadoms. The next time they will be few and burned on the edges.

The food always seems clean enough, so it's definitely not a worry.

That said, the staff are really polite, and generally have a good attitude.

I'm sure I'll eat hear again, if only because of its location.
