Food was terrible. Incredibly salty. The currys didnt taste anything like i have had from other restaurants. Food was 30 mins late. They had marked the food as delivered on just eat before it had even left the shop i can only assume to keep there ratings up. I know this as i rang to find out where my food was. To be told that it was on the way and that it was busy and he only had 2 drivers. Would not recommend.

Gosh where do I start? Curry was an hour late, somehow they tried to blame Just Eat for delivering the order late even though they confirmed receipt of the order 2 minutes after it was given. Then when it arrived an hour late they gave us the wrong main. The poppodums had been fried in old oil by their taste, the naan breads were tasteless, the cucumber/yoghurt dish was unspeakable and the saag aloo was dry. I don't say this lightly but I can safely say that this was the worst curry I've ever had. When I complained they said there was nothing that they could do and that it was a miscommunication when I called even though I selected the order online. I was then offered a discount if I came again. I'd pay never to eat their food again! It was the curry equivalent of an episode of Faulty Towers

A wonderful welcome from the very knowledgeable staff who helped us with our menu choices. We didn't have to wait long on food and got money off because we paid in cash. Beautiful restaurant set out very smart. The food is amazing and worth every penny.

Went back after 20 years and very disappointed. Lamb bhuna was more sauce than meat, bland and characterless - and the plain parathas were greasy and uncooked. Fortunately my other half’s tarka dall was excellent and I had a taste. Will not be going back.

Ordered from here last night at 6pm. Had a notification to say that food would be delivered by 6.45. Nothing had arrived by 7.20 so we called the restaurant to find out how much longer it was going to be. We were told the delivery driver had left 10 minutes ago and it's on it's way. At 7.45 nothing had arrived so I called back, we were told the same thing (delivery driver left 5-10 minute ago) obviously now we knew they either lying or didn't have a clue what they were doing! They told me it would be another 5 minutes. At 8pm ( 2 hours after ordering) we still had nothing. I called the restaurant again and requested a refund as it was now 2 hours late, they agreed to this but said I would need to contact just eat directly for a refund. When I contacted just eat they confirmed that I would need to contact the restaurant directly, when telling the restaurant this they didn't want to know but eventually said they would refund us.
I had a call from who I assume was the manager, who asked for my address then told me he would call me back, I told him not to bother as my partner had gone down to get the food himself and a refund.
At 8.20 the driver turned up, banged on my door and left the food on the floor (which is fine, due to circumstances) I called after him and tried to ask him when he left the restaurant, instead of standing at my drive (more that 2 metres away) he decided to stand in my neighbours front garden and shout at me, being very rude and aggressive! But he did confirm he only left 10 minutes ago! (8.10pm)
The food was cold and the lamb was chewy.
My partner had gone down to the restaurant, they offered him a few beers (which he doesn't drink!) And a few free curries and refused the refund as promised on the phone. We advised them we would not be ordering again, so do not want free curries and we do not want the beers!
Terrible service, terrible staff, rude delivery driver, mediocre food!

I made an order through just eat just before half past 7, my order was meant to be delivered at 8.45, I waited until 9 but still no order, so I phoned and phoned and the phone was answered and then put off hook, a message came through from Miriam on just eat saying it would now be with me at 9.25, again I waited as wanted the food, the app showed that the driver was out for delivery...but still no order by 9.30, again I tried ringing and messaging but no answer, I wanted to cancel now as this was a joke but the phone was off hook, by 9.45 I was tired out so I went to bed without hearing a thing. I emailed the next day and very rudely got an email back just saying 'we are now closing for 2 weeks', no apology no refund!! Disgusting service.

It appears that the Miriam has recently changed hands. It was very chaotic when I went in to collect my order. The young man serving was doing his best. Only the older gentleman wore a mask!
The food itself was ok. Although they forgot our rice.
The menu is much more limited than it used to be. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing as it seemed only the 2 chaps and a lady we’re working. I really hope they get a grip on running a new business as this has, for over 20 years, been our preferred Indian in Taunton.
