Spicy Papadum

The first dish is a keema vinaldoo. The dish was not spicy in the slightest and had a deep red colour which I have never seen before in vindaloo. As a keen BIR home cook the base gravy in the result dish was too watery and flavourless. It seemed like none of the base had caramelised at all. Maybe my dish was confused and they made me a keema masala 🤷🏻‍♂️. Shame because of the good reviews. The bhajis and garlic naan was excellent though.
Afraid it's enough to put me off when we next visit Caister

Absolutely beautiful food and great service. Even advised us on arrival they don’t serve alcohol but theirs a shop around the corner. Easily the best Indian food I’ve ever had.

5 of us went last night having never been before. Was very impressed. Nice and friendly staff and the restaurant had a great atmosphere. Food was excellent, we all ordered different mains and we were all very happy with our choices.
Price is excellent too and you can take your own alcohol as they don’t sell it.
We will definitely be back in the caravan season - March to November ❤️👍

Over the years I’ve been fortunate to have visited some great restaurants around the world Im always looking for the WOW factor. Who would have thought the Spicy Papadum in little old caister would deliver. Tucked away in a side street. Small clean and friendly service Sensational Indian food at affordable prices. Super fresh nan and papadums and tasty well spiced curries. BYO alcohol which always helps control the price and they deliver! Best curry shop I have visited in years. If you are visiting Caister this gem is a must on your wish list. Will be back very soon and often.

Good food good price and you take in your own drinks and they give you a glass for them top place well recommend

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. Absolutely delicious. The restaurant is very intimate, probably only 6 tables, so best to book.

Excellent value, great service and really tasty food. Soft drinks are available to buy but if you want wine/beers you can bring your own.
