Lovely little place, situated just off the main street. Cobra in draught at a decent price, lovely menu in fact struggled to make a final choice but all at a reasonable price. Would definitely visit again if out this way. Staff extremely friendly.

What a gem in the heart of Thirsk. We were driving through on our way up north and decided to stop for proper food and avoid a service station - so glad we did!

The service was very friendly, the restaurant is clean with nice decor, and the food was absolutely delicious.

Onion rice, naan breads, and king prawn balti, prawn masala, and lamb balti and everything was exquisite.

I would 100% recommend this restaurant 👍🏼

Overall very disappointing considering the volume of good reviews and professional
appearance of the website and the place itself. Collected my order on a quiet Wednesday night so very little excuse for the poor quality of some of the most basic aspects.

Naan bread was tough and definitely not freshly made to order.
Chutneys clearly watered down and ran straight off the poppadom. (Even more frustrating considering the £2.50 charge)
Mixed appetiser was okay but lacked any real flavour with a lot of battered/fried items.
Curry and rice were pleasant with plenty of meat.

Overall just very disappointing, possibly an off night considering the other reviews but I would be reluctant to return.

Booked a table for two for my Birthday, absolutely superb from start to finish. Staff were very friendly and helpful and food was exceptional would definitely recommend

The food is beyond expectation full of flavour. Staff couldn't do enough for you service was great didn't have to wait long for food. Highly recommend bangal kitchen

Great little restaurant. Been here twice now and both times we have not been disappointed.

Fantastic place. Absolute pleasure to go to. My meal (and I know my food) was beautiful. Only two points stopped a 5 star food review. Firstly, the poppadoms doesn't come with lime pickle. Absolute essential for poppadoms. Second thing was my korma. I know it's the kiddy meal of currys but it was slightly lacking salt. And the chicken was slightly chewy. More like chicken thighs than breast.
The staff couldn't have been better. They were brilliant, funny efficient and kind. Very kind. The facilities were clean and tidy.

Lamb Nawab Khana was absolutely amazing! The lamb was soft and tasty. The Spices sang. The lamb chops were also juicy and soft and the marinate used was quality.
Overall a very good takeaway.
