Food was excellent, staff was very accommodating. Worth booking as it was very busy at 6pm on a Saturday when we visited The friendly staff found us a table and we were not rushed at all. Definitely worth a visit.

The food was nice though expensive and we were rushed out. I would have preferred that they had said "you are too late to order". Poor service as a result.

Been coming here for some years. Whether it’s takeaway or dining in it’s got to be my favourite Indian restaurant. The food is stunning, the beer well kept and most of all the staff don’t make you feel like just another customer but a friend.

Excellent tasty food with extremely good service. Food spot on and served in a timely fashion. We had chicken Rogan, chicken korai Nan, vegetable rice and mixed vegetable bahji. No fault with any item. All served hot and without delay. All staff friendly and helpful. Will eat there again.

Love the Shoboraj. I think it's the best Indian restaurant in Newport. They treat u like royalty if you go in. Impeccable service. However, i use them more frequently as a take out service. The only thing is.. they are very expensive for takeaway.. its worth it.. but it is expensive - also, used to get free onion salad and mint sauce.. that doesn't happen anymore :( but I do get the COL crisis driven prices up everywhere so we will allow it lol 🙃 👍

We ordered take out for delivery which arrived in good time and we enjoyed an excellent high quality meal. The Lamb Bhuna was beautifully cooked and flavourful and the chicken jalfrezi was one of the best my partner has ever had. I liked that the mint sauce was not bright green and a paler cool minty creamy sauce. We will definitely order again and plan to eat in their lovely restaurant in the near future.

Dined at Shoboraj Newport this evening with friends. The food was delicious and good value for money. The king prawn masala was great and the chicken jalfrezi was beautifully presented. The staff were all very attentive and so friendly and helpful. Thank you for a lovely evening
