Being an Indian, when you come across excellent authentic Indian food, that just makes your day and this is what Abbasi's did to us. Extremely delicious and homely food. The amazing service adds to the experience. We were so happy and contented that we ended up having dinner 4 consecutive nights here😁

Thanks a ton, Ayesha, Nia and team. You guys are the best!

Had a Saturday night curry here with 4 mates, we hadn't booked, but they accommodated us. Service was a little bit slow, and we were pensive on how the curry and associated dishes would arrive and taste. No problems on the taste front... the meal was great- delicious and nicely presented food that arrived hot, as ordered and good size portions too.

Staff were great and food was very tasty.

Context:
So we were looking for somewhere to eat. Initially it wasn’t mean to be here)but all the places in town had long queues. So after a short walk we found this place.

Why it’s not 5 stars:
I did get confused a bit, so we ordered a chicken tikka kebab but it only came as a the chicken with just some garnishing; as a kebab I’d expect it to have some bread or vegetables too (however I was too much of a coward to ask the waiters/waitresses about this).

What made it good:
The curry dish was wonderful, had a good portion of meat and deliciously seasoned source. The garlic nana was a good size and flavoursome.

Would I go again?

Yea I would. Just wouldn’t order the kebab and stick to the curry, nana and a rice.

Best curry my family said they'd had for a long time. Could taste all the spices, my chicken (madras) was really tender cooked like the original small curry restaurants. The young Ladies serving we very busy but got us drinks papadoms etc. Thanks for the great meal and kind service

Had a cracking curry and time at this restaurant. They seems a bit understaffed so took a while for food to come. However this did not stop us having a great evening at the restaurant.

Do not hesitate to come to this restaurant and the prices are pretty good given the tourist location.

Would 100% recommend! We could tell that our meals were made to order. We had starters and mains. Staff were amazing and friendly. Lovely atmosphere. Definitely going to visit again!

Lovely Indian food(being an Indian it felt closer to home than most do). Flavours were varied and lovely. Good ambience and was just the meal we were looking for after a long hard hike.

Wouldn’t recommend. The waitress asked us to take a seat while she cleared a table and forgot about us. When we did get seated we ordered promptly. Then the food took over 40 minutes to come out. We had to ask how much longer it would be and we really aren’t the type of people to moan or complain. The food that came was not nice. So many bay leaves in the curries, tikka was salty, korma had some strange flavours, naans we’re like the ones you buy from the supermarket, cutlery was dirty. Must add that the waitresses were all really polite and apologetic.
