Spice Quarter

My go to Indian restaurant when in center of Cardiff. They do more traditional Indian dishes. My Madras could of been hotter in spice levels. Beer when waiting, Madras, bindi, pilau rice and naan bread for around £26. Nice decor and friendly staff.

Nice Venue, Clean and Tidy - Lovely Decor - Staff were courteous and friendly - Menu was a bit limited but good range of drinks on sale - Service was good and Food was superb tasted good and presented well - Reasonable prices

I came here recently and had a wonderful experience. I ordered something spicy and unlike most Indian restaurants that I have been to in the UK, they actually trusted that I knew what I wanted and I got a spicy dish.
I also tried my husband's dish and it was spicy too. In addition to being spicy, it also had rich layers of flavor and smokiness. It was just a fun experience overall.

Very good food. I had murg chilli- tasty and spicy. Tandoori roti was also hot and soft.

We had a Christmas meal booked for 7 people. If I’m honest I’ve had better food warmed up in the microwave at home. Service was appalling. 3 starters ordered, we were charged for 7. Mains were cold.
The bill was an eye opener. £22 for 6 popadoms. 😨 £25 for a small glass of wine. They seen a group out for a Christmas party and ripped us off. Worst meal I’ve ever had in an Indian restaurant.

Lovely Indian in the lively brewery quarter. Friendly staff, though they seemed to be short staffed, so service was a little slow. Food was really delicious and they tried to be accommodating as possible.

Lovely quite ambiance.food was delivered quickly. Starters were really tasty but the quality wasn’t worth price. The mains the chilli murg was good but the murg biriyani was okay.Lacked flavour and felt blanch.
Overall not worth the price.

The food quantity is very less for the price and tastes okay. Service is very poor took ages to get our order. Not very happy!
