Mughal Express | Indian Restaurant | Takeaway | Cardiff

Went on a Monday night and was not that busy but gave it a go. Pace has been recently been opened 4 months ago so still fairly new. The decor is lovely inside and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The starters were amazing. The chicken Karahi was nice too. Their nan was lovely and soft.

Would definitely go again .

This place does some amazing food but the delivery times are shocking you can wait anywhere between 1 to 2 hours + for food and food arrives warm. At first it states they say food should take less than 30 minutes this isn't true on the 2 occasions I ordered.

Having read some.just eat reviews where I made my order it seems this is a common problem with other orders too.

If this is improved it would easily have been a 5 star review. Disappointed :(

Popped in here the other night, didn’t realise it’s BYO wine so popped in Sainsbury’s next door so not a problem.
Ordered Madras with Keema rice for me and CTM and rice for the wife.
I couldn’t believe how nice the food was, very easily the best curry in Cardiff currently. We’ve eaten in all the curry houses for years and years, this knocks spots off all the big names.

It was so good we went back the very next night and had identical dishes to see if they could do it again - they did.

Go, you will not be disappointed!!!

Had a fantastic takeaway from here, the food was delivered promptly by a friendly and cheerful delivery driver, and everything we ordered was fantastic! I am absolutely stuffed, as is my 6ft7 partner (which is quite an ask!). Will definitely order from here in the future, cannot recommend it enough :)

I'll give five star as their biryani with sauce was delicious. Reasonable price generous amount of food service was good. Everyone who wants delicious foods you should order from mughal Express.

Fantastic food and service once again. Becoming my favourite curry house in cardiff (and I love a curry). The waiter Alom was a top man as well and very knowledgeable. Thanks guys!

We sit here totally sated and stuffed after only having not even half of what was delivered. Stunning quality, quantity and service. Can't wait for lock down to end so we can visit in person.

JUST HAD MY USUAL VEGETARIAN MEAL- ONLY TO FIND THEY GAVE ME A "KEEMA NAAN" (LEFTOVER LAMB) ! AFTER THROWING UP, I RANG THEM ONLY TO BE TOLD "SORRY, RING NEXT TIME YOU ORDER"? ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! IF I WAS A MUSLIM, THERE WOULD BE MURDER IF YOU GAVE ME PORK! YOU SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!
