The Lime Tree Indian Takeaway

Went in and ordered. Had a lamb dish and the lamb was tough and could not be eaten. Ordered king prawn sag and when home has been given chicken sag. Took around 25 mins. This used to be a great takeaway with fantastic food. Since being under new management has gone down hill. Second time that have had a problem so will not be going back

Food arrived over an hour after ordering and 30 minutes after just eat said it would be delivered. Food order arrived cold and incomplete. Manager was rude and refused refund or to give owners details. There are far better Indian restaurants in the area.

Since new Management took over, this place has become better. Very nice quality food, friendly and nice staff. Don't normally have to wait too long. Also they offer 20% when paying with cash on collection!

Good quality food. Some unique flavours and dishes to suit either end of the spice spectrum. Only minor negative is delivery has been late a couple of times. I will still keep ordering.

Never ask for a spicy/ hot curry, unless you like a bag of chilli's on your plate. Omg tonight's curry knocked me for 6.

Having said that, I do like their good. The staff are very friendly, and the price's are excellent.

Made an order to collect, once home realised they'd given us a meat dish instead of a vegetarian. Called them up, they apologised said it was totally they're fault and they'd send a replacement out be with you in 30 min. 1 hour later I called back and they said apparently it was there waiting... You said you'd send it as it was your fault. Never got the food.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!Awful Indian! Been going here a while if others aren’t open and never really had a problem but food average and never hot but okay when hungry, today the mint yoghurt sauce used to make hot currys a little milder is full of green chillies and as we always do covered the whole plate in it to have a scoulding mouth at 22 weeks pregnant everyone in our household normally love it so put all over meal, called up as it was literally burning and with no warning they’ve added chillies to the mint sauce!!! Rude and vile over the phone with nothing being done about it, never ever again..

Had take-away twice from here recently - good menu and they cook it quick, I pick up ours up but they do delivery too. Lovely food, always hot.
