Curry Express (Cheltenham)

Wonderful Indian takeaway; the staff are always friendly and polite, the food is delicious and it's fantastic value.

The portion sizes are generous, with a perfect ratio of meat/veg to sauce. It's never greasy or oily, but always full of flavour. Honestly I can't fault Curry Express, hidden gem of Cheltenham!

Good Indian takeaway with parking right outside if your collecting.
Ordered online the Tandori mixed grill, which came with a choice of nan bread and added a vegetable curry as a side.
Food was ready to collect on time, generous portions, well packaged & pipping hot.
The Tandori meats where very tender, I opted for the Garlic Cheese Keema nan which was a meal on its own.
As mentioned the portions sizes are generous & enough for two people, hence I left the vegetable curry to eat another time.
Overall a very good experience & would highly recomemd.

Very friendly guys and very accommodating to my wife who has various food allergies, so I was pleased and impressed. Copious quantities and good quality food but perhaps the Butter Chicken sauce and Peshwari Nan were a little too sweet, but then maybe they are catering for what they think are‘English tastes’. I would still recommend though and will go again.

Great Indian takeaway, staff are friendly and the food is delicious... The meal deal (Monday to Thursday) is great value for money (collection only). Absolutely love their Chicken Dhansak with a Peshwari Naan... :-)

Best takeaway curry in Cheltenham!
We had a superb meal for the family, top quality meats and the flavours are delicious. We tried a great variety, from the korma to the vindaloo, tandoori mixed grill and a number of sides. Everyone loved what they had and we will definitely be back. Go direct to the website to get a great discount too!

Wanted to try a different curry place and I was not disappointed, in fact it's gone to top of the list for takeway curry in Cheltenham, and I have eaten at top curry places like Koloshi or East India Cafe. The mixed starter and slow cooked lamb were absolutely gorgeous. I'm not much of a naan person so I'd agree with another review the naan didn't have much of a taste but it didn't bother me because I prefer rice with my curry anyways. I'd recommend the curry 100%, and rice with it

My hubby had Chicken Vindaloo who informed me that the flavour was there and the right spices. I am not a Indian food lover but I had the Chicken Passanda, it was delicious. My score is 4.5 this is only because there was a little to much potatoes in the Vindaloo, then we are from Wales so perhaps it is done differently in Cheltenham 😁. Will definitely get a meal from hear.
