Rice and Spice

Ordered the Butter Chicken & Chicken Korma. I must say I was very disappointed with the food. The Butter Chicken was extremely sweet and it had tandoori chicken pieces in it which tasted awful with the sweet butter chicken sauce. The Korma was also very sweet. Will not buy from here ever again.

Great food from all parts of India, they even sell Sri Lankan and Bangla dishes. The owner so friendly and polite, definitely recommend the food if your feeling a taste of South Asian food

Chicken tikka was used in chicken butter dish. None of the food we ordered was tasty and they were very sweet. The lamb in lamb sag was very chewy and dry. Also ordered bread that has some stone stone layer stick to them. The delivery guy was very rude and I never knew what his problem was? This is the first and last time I order from that place.

We order curry from here regularly and every time the whole family always agrees that they make the best curry ever. We highly recommend Rice and spice!
This is now an update to my last review above from 4 years ago!!! We still order regularly from Rice and Spice and still consider them the best! We love the chick dansak and garlic chilli chicken. The Sag panneer and Sag aloo are amazing too! My previous 5 star review still stands :)

The curry had been reheated so there was no flavour taste spice left and was paired with not so nice bread just had no freshness no chilli as advertised on the menu. Maybe a off day for them but this was our first meal of the day massive disappointment after reading all the nice reviews :(

Ordered last night. The Dansak really tasty and the chicken wasn't over done at all. Keema rice was nice too. I have been a bit lost for a good take away curry in the local area, this one really hit the spot.

Edit: ordered again tonight. Just as nice as the always :-)

My Son recommended Rise & Spice so ordered in shop.

The front of house guy helped me out as I am not familiar with Indian. He pointed out that If I ordered one more item I qualify for there discount , this made the bill £3.00 less then the original but with more items.

We ordered a takeaway this evening for the first time from Rice and Spice, all the dishes were perfectly cooked arrived piping hot and everything was extremely tasty.

I can recommend the Lamb Vindaloo lovely and hot with well cooked lamb and potato in a rich pretty fiery sauce.

The Chicken Makhani has a rich creamy sauce, slightly spicy and sweet with beautifully cooked chicken pieces.

The Lemon rice and Pilau rice very flavoursome and the Saag Aloo is to die for, so tasty and full of flavour.

We will definitely be ordering again soon, Rice and Spice get a huge thumbs up from this curry lover.
