Had to give one star but in my opinion does not deserve any. Ordered 8.15...a simple dish and asked for it to be ready 8.45. Arrived promptly. I was very concerned about how the kitchen looked and couldn’t smell any food being prepared. I was told they’d start cooking it now. In my opinion the place looked and smelled dirty. We therefore did not proceed with the order.

Rang through our order and was told half an hour. We walked over to collect 25 minutes later. Loads of people came and went but we waited a further 45 minutes. Over a hour wait in total when told half an hour over the phone. If we hadn't already paid i would have just walked out. No apology when we finally got the food and it wasn't even very nice! Never again! Dirty looking place too! No stars really but had to give 1 as none isn't a choice!

Just moved to Charlton Kings and found Shahins. Very low key on the outside, but wow food was so fresh and excellent best Indian we have had in a long time. Ordered online and the food was ready to be collected in 30 mins. Excellent service and polite and friendly courteous staff. A little gem will be ordering often.

I tried this place wanting to deviate from my usual Indian - I’m so glad I did, we had a Brilliant meal tonight ordered on Just eat. One of the best dhansaks I’ve had from an Indian. I would highly recommend to anyone! Make sure you try, definitely worth it!

45 minutes passed no food another 45 minutes later it arrived with missing item which they informed me could not be delivered due to being busy yes I could understand but I do not live in walking distance. I do not leave negative reviews but this is not the first time. We have also found bones in chicken but never said anything as this was on one occasion. I will not be ordering from here again because under pressure you cannot cope

What was once the best Indian restaurant in Cheltenham has changed and is possibly the worst in Cheltenham. The last two orders have been somewhat very disappointing. So much so that we had to throw the meal away. We ordered the meal for 2 - Shahin's Special Set Meal for 2 - £22.95 as usual. The side dishes were poor. Samosas batter was like leather and the onion Bhajis were black/burnt beyond recognition. The Bombay Aloo was barely warm. As for the rice - we received pea rice in place of the 'special rice', and as for the Chicken Tikka Mosalla and Lamb Jalfrezi - where to start - the chicken was exactly the same as the Lamb - unchewable. The only thing we ate was the side salad. Wont be eating anything from them again. (Delivery was swift and the delivery driver was very polite) Maybe a new chef would be the order of the day.

I love Shahin's. No doubt the best curry in Town. Hands down, by a mile. We order every weekend and the quality and generosity is amazing. Staff are absolutely brilliant.
