Cinnamon Indian Takeaway Canterbury

Alright. Let me preface this by saying that I am an American. I do understand the palate in the UK is very different. I'm writing this review for other the benefit of American tourists such as myself.
I ordered Chicken Tikka masala (national dish), chicken passanda, and saag paneer.
They were all overwhelmingly sweet. Think sweet potatoes or butternut squash on Thanksgiving day. They tasted strongly of coconut, even though the descriptions said they were made with cream and yogurt. The spices were literally undetectable. When I say spices, I mean flavor, not heat level. In the US, these dishes are savory and well seasoned even when made with no heat level.
This was honestly a shocking experience.
I'm giving 3 stars because I do understand this is the norm in this area, reviews at other Indian places near by mentioned extremely sweet dishes as well. The delivery was quick and free, and the restaurant didn't do anything wrong. But in my heart it was honestly a 1.

I do not often write reviews in fear that the business I review gets so busy that the service drops.... but I can not, not post a review on this AMAZING restaurant!!! For over 1 year most weeks we have a take away from here and have ALWAYS had consistent and absolutely gorgeous food from this place!! You can order online... And they deliver on time. I always recommend Cinnamon to friends and family who are now solid customers and love their food too!!

First Indian we've tried in Canterbury and it's the last, no point trying to find somewhere better - it won't exist! Everything was tasty, delivered precisely when they said it would and the driver was very pleasant

Excellent cuisine right in Canterbury. The dishes are delicious and the quantity is more than sufficient. Price and performance are exceptional. One of the best takeaways in town for us. Thank you for the great work!

Best Indian food I ever had since I moved to Canterbury. I only give 4 stars because some piece of chicken in my food was hard.But overall the food was delicious.

Excellent food. large portions, timely service - the best Dansak in Canterbury. Not the cheapest by far but definitely the best! Highly recommend.

Got our order wrong, but that’s not the biggest problem we had a long presumably female hair in our alo paratha which made me vomit upon seeing this.
