Ordered from them twice now and probably my favourite Indian in the Canterbury area. Not the most authentic but not far from either. Beware even for me some dishes did have some kick to it which I loved! Tad bit expensive though for what it is. Have always delivered on time.

Amazing Curry. Best succulent chicken I've tasted in a long time and popadoms fresh too. Definitely will be ordering again. Thankyou

Order from this place quite regularly now when I get lazy and want a good Indian. Definitely the best Indian in Canterbury for me. Every order is hot and delicious. Arrives on or around claimed time so no issues there. Order more than 2-3 dishes and they always give me a free Vegetable curry which is just a bonus! Love that service and the food again is simply exquisite. Prices aren’t too bad at all. Definitely recommend this place. My friends already love it.

Keep it up! Expect many more orders.

I have ordered from dial-a-curry a few times before and in general the food is good, however the delivery has always been late, but today has been the worst experience yet. I made a delivery order as this evening was a date night at home with my wife that is a vary rare event for us due to a very busy life, when I placed my order the confirmation page stated delivery time will be 20:35, as always I allowed an extra 10 minutes as their previous service taught me to wait an extra 10 minutes so when my food had not arrived by 20:45 I tried calling the restaurant, after 7 more attempts of calling until I got cut off I finally got through at 21:01, the gentleman on the phone sounded rushed and me being on the phone was clearly an inconvenience, as when I told him my order had not arrived he was able to say the driver had left already and my order will be a couple more minutes without asking for my name, address or any other order details this phone call took 32 seconds, my food arrived 10 minutes later, the delivery driver was clearly stressed and run off his feet and was very apologetic about the late delivery, to top off the experience the food was so cold (the curry dishes where 38 degrees Celsius) so had to plate up our meals and microwave them, which always diminishes the quality of the meal. if it wasn’t for the apologetic attitude of the delivery driver I would have reduced this rating to a 1*. I’m simply disappointed with today’s experience and has left me undecided wether or not to order from here again.

Disappointing as on a number of occasions now I have paid for a dish advertised as King Prawns and they have used small shrimp. They only acknowledged this when I raised it and had not notified me, they were however happy to charge for King Prawns, despite not using them! Aside from this the food quality is generally poor, mass produced sauces used and poured over the meat and not consistently freshly prepared. There are much better options available in Canterbury (Spice Spree), where the Lamb Nihari is delicious, Sandwich and Dover (both Namaste) that are on another level.

Always late delivery and food is always cold. You’re told within the hour for delivery but takes an hour and a half or more. Numerous calls to be told “5 mins” waited way more than that. It’s a shame because the food is actually quite nice

Excellent food, we had a huge order for 50 people and they didn't dissapoint. Food, timing and pricing was spot on

My experience with Dial A Curry was terrible. In fact, this was the worst ever experience I have ever had, I would leave zero stars if I could. The whole process was like a joke:

- Late delivery
- Food arrived cold. The meat was freezing cold and covered in congealed fat! I had to re-heat it.
- The food had a disgusting taste. I suspect it was hygienic. It was impossible finish it all. I had to throw it away or risk food poisoning. I throw it the rest after tasting a few pieces.
- If you really care about your health, you wouldn’t order from this place
- This place is definitely overrated. Anyone with more than a one star review was paid for sure. The food is definitely overpriced. Nobody should pay this much money to be sad..

While there are many words I could use to describe Dial A Curry, I’m going to say only this: Dial A Curry is a really bad restaurant.

I found the quality of the food to be completely unacceptable, I believe it is my responsibility to to warn other people so that they don't make the same mistake...

Avoid this place at all costs...
