Spice Magic

Came down from London for a few days with my sister who has very special dietary requirements. We couldn't eat at our hotel the night we ordered from Spice magic due to really limited menu options there. The chef and owner were very accommodating and made a dish especially for my sister. The food was good and tasty. Highly recommend.

I have been going to Spice Magic on and off for over 15 years. It's takeaway only but they do delivery within 3 miles if the order value exceeds a certain amount. They serve great tasting curry which includes a prominent taste of curry leaf which I like and Pilau rice is included with each main curry dish. I particularly like their chicken vindaloo, chicken madras, chicken bhuna, mushroom bhajee and mixed vegetable curry side dish. Avoid the poppadoms which are normally oily and a bit stale.

Absolutely delicious. Possibly the best Indian takeaway we have had for many years. We ordered online, it was delivered very quickly, all correct. Chicken palak, the best pieces of chicken ever, lamb jalfrezi with sliced lamb and green chillies, plus aloo gobi, with perfect non greasy, fragrant pilau rice. We are in Exeter for the next month only so will try to fit in as many takeaways from here as possible!

Telephoned ahead of placing order to discuss a dietary need. They point blank said there's no way they could provide anything that excludes this item and were not polite about it. I explained that I had had no problem with this dietary need with 3 other Indian restaurants in Exeter over the last 8 years and couldn't understand why they couldn't accommodate. They hung up on me! Not impressed at all! Disgusting service!

Had Spice Magic for the first time last night & it did not disappoint. Beautiful food, cooked well. Fast service & delivered to the door.
Best takeaway curry we have ever had.

Love there currys been ordering from our house hold for approximately 3yrs , most weeks . bit disappointed tonight as the ceylon appeared to resemble it was reheated not cooked fresh watery didn't eat 🙄😬 much!!

Tonight Rogan Josh curry had 3 table spoons of oils on the top of it.i have spent £750 since December last year on 51 Currys from this curry house it was delivered by ubar next time I will go and get it myself and check out the oil's on the top of it.never happened before.i took a photo of it and sent it to ubar and they gave me the £9.95 back.dont forgot to press the heading your way button next time as i had no idea when it was coming it took 1 hour.as I rang them up it was just arrived.up to now it's been the best 👍 Currys ever

I have gotten takeaway many times here and the food is good. The last time I got a takeaway, the cauliflower pakora and egg fried rice was very oily but it did taste good. Their aloo chat is nothing but Bombay aloo. Their prices are reasonable for a takeaway and the portions are good. They deliver quickly. One of the handful of Indian restaurants which serves authentic food to taste.
