Zaytoun Spice

At 22:50 we called Zaytoun and all though it was close to closing they said “yes we are open, what would you like” they took the order and within 35 minutes it was delivered, however, they’d forgotten the naan breads, this is where great service shines, I phoned back after the time they close and they apologised and within 5 minutes the naans were delivered with complimentary poppadoms, very impressed with the food and service, will definitely use again as the other Indian restaurants in Lichfield would not have even taken the call, thank you Zaytoun.

This was the first time we had used this place so we were a bit sceptical.
But wow the food was absolutely amazing, starters, mains and sides were all so fresh and beautifully cooked.
They even catered for my allergy which was also fantastic.
Will definitely use again and can highly recommend !!

Ordered 2 meals nan bread meals come no sauce rang said send straight out 15 min later turned up opened bag guess 1 sauce phoned to say only 1 they going to send another 1 out . Thing is nann cold disgusted doubt order again

Just excellent food! We’ve been eating here regularly for years and their food really is fantastic - Really authentic and freshly cooked every time. Excellent quality meat in everything.
Also friendly service and if you go in it’s an open kitchen so you can watch them cook it all - my personal favourite is the Kasia Lamb it’s incredible

We had prawn purée. Not nice at all. Chips ok. Rice smelt nasty so didn’t eat it. Salad was not fresh. Didn’t eat it. Aloo Gobi had a strange smell tasted like yesterday’s. My partner didn’t even look at his chicken madras after the prawn purée. He eats anything usually. Popadoms stale. Didn’t eat those. Nan bread was cold and again had a strange smell so that didn’t get eaten either. All in the bin. It has been quite a while since we last ordered from this place and it had always been tasty. The kitchen needs cleaning and clean apron and tea towels wouldn’t go a miss. We arrived there at 17.30 when they opened. Oh and they couldn’t take a card. On reflection I should have left at that point. Won’t be going back. Lots of water for us now. Hopefully the sickness feeling will go away.

They have really nice food and the delivery service is amazing, amazing staff and a lovely delivery person

Great Indian takeaway, one of the better ones in Lichfield. Really busy and the food is always hot and fresh. Portion sizes seem to be getting smaller?!
