Simply Indian takeaway

Worst indian I have ever had. Arrived 30 minutes late, when I contacted the restaurant to ask where my food was he told me the driver had left 30 minutes ago. It took an hour and a half From placing my order to receiving it. The food was barely warm when it got here as it was on the road for half an hour. It was absolutely swimming in grease I had to mop the plate up with a tea towel to get all of the grease and water off of my plate before eating. All the curries tasted awful and there is so much cinnamon in the keema naan it was over powering. Definitely won't be using this takeaway again.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Overcharged, given the wrong rice and the wrong naans, waited 20 mins just to get in to collect, then another 20 mins to sort the overcharge that never got refunded and the food was cold and the curry had no flavour. Waste of time and money.

Had a curry and mixed grill from here on two different occasions, with sides, rice and naans. Both occasions I was pleasantly surprised. The ordering was slightly chaotic, but this is just down to covid not allowinbf many to enter the shop and only 2persons being allowed in at a time. Apart from that, very nice food, very fresh, will definitely use again.

I’ve gotten food poisoning from there food and I’ve been throwing up etc for the last 2 days it’s on the 3rd day not and I can’t sleep , I’m not happy with it at all as I wanted to enjoy the food but I didn’t even eat the hole plate only eaten half that’s how bad it was tasting but I’m paying for the consequence for it as I should of know from the first bite it wasn’t right

Ordered food and part of the order didn't arrive. Phoned and they apologised and said that they will deliver it in 25 minutes...30 minutes went so phoned and asked how much longer to be told another 20 minutes so 50 minutes after some of the food had arrived...requested a refund for 5 minutes over the phone and the person who I was speaking to was not listening to my request and would not give a refund. He then said that he does not understand English baring in mind that we were having a conversation for 10 minutes on the phone now...won't be ordering from them again and the food was bland too...sorry

The food is the best indian in the area (Irthlingborough, Higham Ferrers and Rushden) in my opinion. I'm bengali myself and my palette is perhaps different to others having grown up eating curry near enough everyday. I ask for it to be made extra hot and Bengali style for me and so far I've had some very satisfying results.
The owner is very hospitable too.
One bad thing is the first time i ordered, it took a while for delivery which was annoying. However, that could have been because i went with Uber eats. Second time i opted to pick up myself and i will give them another cahnce to get the delivery done on time next time.

Ordered online and paid by card only to receive a phone call saying that their website orders are not being paid to them, gave us a mobile number to call and get reimbursed which in itself is dodgy so received no order and have to go to bank to recollect our payment. Would not recommend to anyone.

Honestly the worst customer service ever. Made my order through uber eats and it never arrived...called the restaurant several times for a refund and i couldn't even get into contact with the boss. An actual joke...if they were too busy to handle the order the should've declined rather than take my money and not deliver my food. The worst restaurant and people I've ever dealt with.
