Poppadom Express

A disappointing and rather frustrating order;

Delivery was much later than stated, what was delivered was lukewarm and soggy , the chips had soaked through the paper bag and I had to pick the bits of paper of them. One of my guests ordered a Korma as they’re not keen on spice but it was far too spicy for them.

I’d like to balance the criticism with some compliments or praise but on this particular occasion there aren’t any.

Hopefully an ‘off night’ but I’ll struggle to bring myself to order from here again, not a good first impression.

Normally very good. However last night we ordered tandoori King prawn masala and chicken tikka masala which are supposed to be cooked in creamy coconut sauces. Both dishes were in an extremely hot ? Vindaloo sauce so were inedible and very few king prawns and chicken pieces. Waste of money.

Received my takeaway and my curry is missing. I called to see of they would be able to send it and the person who answered didn't seem to believe the curry was missing at first, after some back and fore he then asked if I would like to recieve it tomorrow instead 🤦‍♀️. After I rejected that idea (the rest of my meal is already here waiting). I was told the driver had gone and I was unable to collect the replacement. In the end I asked for a refund and have to sort that out tomorrow through foodhub.
The guy on the phone had a pretty bad attitude and was more defensive than apologetic. I would have rated a 0 if able. I had a very dry meal and will not be ordering from here again 👎

Amazing food, great service. Can't fault it. Looking forward to go back soon.

Please don't waste your money on ordering from poppadom express!! Food arrived stone cold, so we reheated, but worse it was completely tasteless and looked like some ones left overs!! It was that terrible and inedible it went in the bin!! Called the restaurant to be told no one else had complained about the food so it must be fine!! No offer of an apology just placed blame on us. In times like this money is precious, and after working hard all week and looking forward to a treat, it is such a disappointment and frustration to have wasted it. Will definitely not be returning again!!!

Had to leave this review as its every time I order. The owner says he knows me and will look after me but constantly leaves items off my order when delivered, this time it was the chips, there portions have gone so small and the delivery driver even asked us to check the order which suggests the restaurant are doing this on a regular occurrence. Will not be ordering from here any more as the owner seems to not care about his customers enough is enough.

Took 2hrs to arrive wish I could say it was worth the wait lame excuse that the stuffed paratha takes a hour to cook so never had it and was given £3 back, pakora was burnt, hardly any coconut in the peshwari naan I should've just ordered the plain naan. Makhani was bland and the jalfrezi was OK but certainly not worth the money or the wait. Chicken biryani was OK. Will not order from here again complete waist of money

Always lovely manners, people, service and beautiful tasting fresh hot food every-time I’ve ordered.
I always order spicy chips, meat and vegetable samosas, lamb sag and lamb biryani and they even change the sauce to a coma for me.
I can’t speak highly enough for this place xx😃
