1st time to visit this pub in the numerous years I've been coming to Abergavenny ,always seem to pass it in the Car,always meaning to go there,but have ended up elsewhere, won't again!!, Good Beer,Friendly Staff,Beer Garden situated overlooking River Usk,As Arnie would say,I'll be Back!

We were walking from Clydach to Abergavenny and we decided to stop here for a rest. Beautiful pub, beautiful drinks and very friendly staff! If we ever decided to do that walk again we will definitely be stopping here!

Nice and friendly place to go. Went there several times for a very well deserved drink after a long walk. Also dog friendly. Staff very friendly

Great local pub. Good ales; three hand pulls at time of post. Friendly, attentive staff, and friendly, chatty locals. No pub I've been to in this town to compare.

Great pub in a beautiful location by the river. Staff are lovely and welcoming. Had a few pints of Butty Bach which was delicious. Great place to spend a summer afternoon in the garden. Love it.

What an excellent pub run by a warm and inviting couple. Set right on the river, on a sunny day it's great to sit in the beer garden and watch the world go by. Pub grub on the weekends at a reasonable price. Gorgeous fire inside to keep you toasty in the winter. Friendly locals. Great atmosphere.
