Campsite is in a beautiful area but campsite facilities are very dirty the toilets and shower were filthy looked like they hadnt been cleaned in weeks. Definitely the dirtiest campsite ive ever stayed at.

The place to stay with a motorhome in Llangollen. A quiet campsite with limited electricity but within a 10 minute road free walk into Llangollen. Helpful owners. This is not a flashy site with state of the art facilities and is all the better for it. We will be back again when in the area.

Just stayed 3 nights Jan 2019. The site location is great, short walk about half mile from Llangollen. You can take the short cut down big hill, and the longer flatter route back with just a short steep hill at the end by the site. Llangollen itself is fabulous, steam trains, canoeing, lovely river walks. Small village with nice places to eat and quite a few pubs to choose from too. You can also take the canal ride in the summer. Lots to do to keep the kids occupied. Its this which sells this site for me - the location is fab. The site itself is small ish, the back field is mainly caravans and motorhomes (about 15 plots but some seasonal) and the front field for tents. There is a water point and and elsan point. The showet/toilet block isn't the best, it's very dated and dirty but we knew what to expect from other reviews and the location of this site is what attracted us. We pretty much used our own facilities so not a big problem. It was £18 for two people per night (at the time of our stay) and you have to pay separately for electirc- which we went thru really quickly, using the fire and the fridge over night it cost us £4 per night. Put the heater on gas it works out at £2 per night. Just make sure if you need lecky you arrange with the site prior, as the keepers of the site work and aren't always on site. Had some bad reviews this site but I would deffo come again - I'd just bring a bottle of bleach and wear crocks :-)

Fantastic place and well worth money so quiet here. 10 minutes walk along the canal into the town.
Site is very clean and spacious friendly owners when you arrive.

Only minor downfall is I think there should be a few lights installed on the camping field where we are camping. And always light installed along the path going to the toilets and showers block as it’s pitch black which could be scary for some people.

Other than that we would definitely come back and camp again.

Great value for money, £6 a night! And whilst the showers aren't the greatest they are warm and provided free of charge which is unusual for a campsite

Great location, 5 minute walk to the canal, 10 minute walk into the main area with lots of nice restaurants and bars. Stayed at Tower farm a few times, basic but suits us

Great location 20mins walk to town along the canal or 20mins the other way and you have the chain Bridge pub. Only one toilet and shower at the moment not alot of queuing so OK. £19 a night.
