Swallow Cottage is beautifully set up; the welcome and simple hospitality made us feel so at home. The view, the tranquility and the access to so many beautiful parts of west Wales made it an ideal holiday spot.

We have just returned form a week at Birdwatch cottage at Dolhaidd. This was an excellent cottage, equipped with all our needs. The walks from the cottage to the river was so peaceful, with much wildlife such as Kingfishers, Red Kites, Herons Mallards and even a wild mink seen. The owners were on hand with advice of the local area. This is an excellent cottage to take a dog , as there are many walks in the surrounding area and coastline.

This is a brilliant holiday venue for families. There are 4 cottages in a secluded courtyard. This makes it very safe for young children. Each cottage has its own garden and there is access to the river for fisherman and walkers. the accommodation is good but only if you can manage the washing up without a dishwasher. There are castles, beaches and the National botanic gardens within easy reach. We have spent two family holidays with a large family. Great for independence with togetherness!

Cottage was clean and tidy was very peaceful there was a river at the end of the field where I saw heron. Buzzard .Kingfisher plenty of places to visit as well.
