Visited this weekend with immediate and extended family for a wedding. All of us had a great time. Staff extremely accommodating and very friendly. We were made to feel very welcome. Facilities were great and the food excellent. Would definitely recommend and we will be visiting again.

What a lovely 2 nights stay! Faultless. I can only praise the owners. Breakfast and evening meal was delicious!!! Room was immaculate and owners were absolutely fab!! The view from the patio is fantastic...a perfect place to relax. I definitely recommend a stay here. Thanks!!!

I stayed here for a one night stopover and was very pleasantly surprised.What an excellent find The Mountpleasant Inn is.
Bedrooms are tastefully decorated and cosy with tea/coffee making facilities big en suite shower with big fluffy towels and a great stock of toiletries. My bed was extremely comfortable and I slept like a baby.
The establishment is tardis like with the inside seeming to be 3-4 times the size of the outside.
Hot tub, small gym, a nice spacious seating area and a wonderful outside terrace. The valley was shrouded in cloud during my stay but I am sure the view from the terrace would be beautiful in sunshine.
Breakfast was tremendous and I will definitely be using it again as a base when visiting S Wales on my frequent trips.

I wasn't quite about this place to begin with being out of the way a bit. The place is fantastic though and the owners are really friendly. They have done an amazing job with the place, the bedroom facilities are great, beds are really comfortable, free parking at the rear of place with bars and restaurants not too far away. It's easy to feel at home staying here. It was great getting to know the owners John and anne. I would highly recommend this place if travelling through wales.
