Check the paperwork very very carefully.

When needing to make a claim they will state the insurance policy is not with them but a 3rd party and spend more effort letting you know the ‘prestige’ policy does not cover you for x, y or z.

An example being if you are delayed coming back home. They don’t cover that or you didn’t take out a policy that covers for it!

Go with a bigger company rather than this small broker.

Terrible company, avoid. Paid for travel insurance in Feb for an August holiday which was cancelled due to Corona, absolutely nothing was covered on the policy. I asked for a refund and they added a 'pro rata' refund policy that was not on my policy document.

Needed to book my daughter's travel insurance as she was going abroad in 48hrs.
Spectrum had the best value for money and so easy to set up. Unfortunately we didn't need to use it but would definately use spectrum again.

The policy looks fine but the proof required to get any sort of payout on a legitimate claim is simply unreasonable. Very poor customer support and service. I wouldn't use again.

Flights, villa ,car rental ,transfer company all gave full refunds no questions
Spectrum policy only refund half and thought this was a great gesture 👎👎👎👎👎

Meaningless words and unkept promisses. They were not bothered even keeping theirs own promisses, left me without car for ten days, but apart from wasting time they have not done anything.

Asked for another date for my policy to be moved to because of covid restrictions cancelling our cruise. Weeks ago they said it would have to go to the underwriters for a decision, not heard anything yet.l still got an email from them as if cruise was still on and ' bet we are very excited'. Yeah right!!!.
If I don't get a reply soon will avoid this company like the plague. My daughter changed her dates with another company with no problem at all (same cruise)

Bunch of cowboys. Bought an annual policy with them just before Covid. Off course the refused to Amed the dates to reflect the lockdowns and lack of travel. They didn’t even reach out to clients, I spent over an hour speaking to someone in India who just sounded like they are reading from a book. Completely unwilling to help in anyway what so ever. Will never use this company again.
