Firstly, I will start off with the negatives as this company isn't the best at processing claims! The main issue here is trying to claim money so I can buy car seats to replace the ones from my recent accident. I originally made contact with Markerstudy on 26th July 2022 and as of today the matter has only just been resolved. Please note, I had to borrow a car seat from a friend whilst they sorted this!

In summary, the main issue was their claims team dragging their feet and not communicating with me at all. They have very poor communication skills and do not keep their customers updated. Since my accident at the end of May 2022, I've been on the phone several times as they seem to never keep you posted on anything.

Now the good bits, their complaints team have been involved with the above car seat claim issue and finally got this resolved today. This is solely down to Terrie-Elisha Bolton in complaints as she's gone above and beyond my expectations to help claim money for my car seat. The main issue was not having proof of purchase i.e. a receipt for one out of two car seats, which is my own fault. After turning my house upside down and a few calls to this company, I was able to send in a photo of the one without a receipt and advised it will be settled based on something like-for-like. I sent in the updated version of the car seat from Argos on 2nd August and have chased several times since with their claims team to see where things were at. This team never got back to me as it's their policy to only settle car seat claims based on having receipts or satisfactory evidence of owning them. However, I have done as much as possible to help get the claim settled. Terrie made this happen today, so I can't thank her enough.

I haven't given 5 stars as I feel the claims team are letting the side down. Unfortunately I won't be returning to the company next year upon renewal as I feel they need to train their staff and employ more to answer the phones as their call queues are shockingly long!

If I could give 0 stars I would, waiting 5 months for my claim, ExamWorks said they reported to the insurance and 2 months later the insurer didn’t even contact me, I had to contact them, they said they we’re waiting for a police report, after that call they sent me a document asking me to sign it for the police report, what a joke.

Raised a complaint saying I could make a DSAR request to prove everything I have said and I have my own documents as proof, I said I wanted the claim sorted, low and behold they sent an email saying they’ll start a DSAR request like seriously?

And then so many emails I sent with little response and I get told I’m priority, some priority care this is 😂

Rang them again and the woman said they’re waiting on ExamWorks but I have the report from ExamWorks via WhatsApp

And now just to add: the woman said she’s gonna speak to ExamWorks and now I been on hold and transferred to the mainline without being told 😂

I would advise not to go with this company and during this whole time… they have the audacity to charge me…

Avoid at all costs!

Again, like several other reviewers, I'd leave zero stars if I could. Reported a small, damage only claim ten days ago and after the initial acknowledgement, heard nothing. After several days, I queried why nothing was happening and was told it was because the claim had been inadvertently closed!! Was told claim would be revived and repairers instructed and courtesy car arranged if available, despite my policy saying a car WOULD be provided. Once more, nothing happened until I chased up by phone about a week after the initial event and all that time without a car.
Fortunately, other party's insurer, the AA, have been in touch offering to bypass the shambles that is Markerstudy and arrange repair, through my own repairer if I wish, and provide a courtesy car during proceedings. No payment need be made by myself, no policy excess to be paid and then recovered months later; everything dealt with efficiently by the AA. I've dealt with the AA previously on a no fault claim and had no problem with them.
Think I'll deal with the AA in future because there's no way Markerstudy will get any more business from me.

I submitted a claim with this company, during the claim logging stage the gentleman who handled my claim was really helpful and promised me that I will get a courtesy car, but after few hours I received a call from the place who are repairing my car that there is a waiting list and I will have to wait, but she did say to speak to Mark study who will be able to provide you with a car, upon calling mark study, I was told that I cannot be given a car if the repairer doesn’t have a car the lady was very rude and didn’t want to help me.. when it comes to taking your money they promise you the world but then when you need something in return for the service you have paid for they cannot provide it… it’s a shame if I had a million pounds in my account the outcome would have been different! I really need a car due to nature of my work but they have declined me out right

They are bunch of cowboys - avoid at all cost. Scam me for storage fees and recovery charges if my stolen recovered scooter. No way to communicate with them - they don't answering emails, call takes ages to get through and even then, there's nobody to talk with as operators just follow the script. I wish I read reviews first, before I entered any business with them.

I was knocked off my motorbike in April, but didnt want to make a claim. The other party blames me, so i have sent two accident reports, one by recorded deliver, to Markerstudy. I have also emailed the report TWICE. Now 7 months later they have emailed me to say I need to make a report! These people are useless.

Absolutely dreadful insurers. Motorbike stolen and I’ve been on hold for 90 minutes today to their ‘theft team’. They refuse to cover storage fees but you can’t get through to them to let them know the vehicle is ready for collection. Lexham Insurance should stop doing business with them

Do not vent spleen on here it’s pointless.
Follow their published complaints procedure and then if not sorted report them to the FSA who will fine them or suspend their licence.
They don’t care about these reviews.
