- The tables and chairs were dirty, good job we had baby wipes to clean what looked like old ketchup and grease off everything.
- Staff members not wearing masks in the height of a pandemic, and coming to our table without a mask on.
- The sharing platter was mainly a generous pile of leaves, with two extremely small bread rolls, a huge pot of butter and some old coleslaw. The olives were good.
- The kids DIY pizza was spicy. The tomato sauce and also the chorizo, shouldn’t have been spicy at all.
The next two were provided to us by a surly chef, clearly upset that we had returned her efforts. The latter two were burnt at the edges but still had patched of raw dough in the crust. That said, we were bored with going back and hungry thus we ate them, leaving the crusts.
For the price charged the product produced was poor.
Pre-CoVid we were regulars at Bumbellini's for sit down food and will probably return to this at that time.
Last night, it appeared that with the staff cooking only a small number of pizzas in CoVid time, they either didn't have the oven hot enough to cook well or had lost their skill of observing when a pizza was cooked. The first effort we received was far whiter and "anaemic" than should have been given to a paying client.
Disappointing. So unlike Banny's Fish & Chips that we visited last week and gave them a 5* review after!
Room for Improvement. Domino's Pizza better than Bumbellini's at the present time.
Happy with limited menu.
Really poor bacon and sausage bap. Bland, cheap ingredients, poorly/ barely cooked.
Would be happy to have paid more for quality/ local ingredients- not mass catering sausage.
