Had a great experience eating lunch here today with a friend. We opted for mains and dessert. I had the pizza and salad, she had the Caesar salad. For dessert lemon cheesecake and tiramisu. All presented beautifully and at right temperatures. Service was prompt and friendly. Restaurant is decorated in a bright, modern style. Only thing is we didn't realise you pay on exit so we sat for a while waiting to ask for the bill.

The older reviews on here must be about a different place. We just dropped in as were passing and had a fantastic experience. Delicious pizza, generous and tasty caesar salad. Lovely ambience, great staff. Lovely!

We entered the restaurant at 18:45 only to be met by an abrupt person who looked at his watch and told us "I've just checked and its last orders so unfortunately we're closed", even though it states they close at 20:00 which baffled us but after reading other reviews about customer service and length of time it takes to get your food I'm glad we decided to visit Banney's fish restaurant. I would strongly advise all to give this place a wide berth eat elsewhere and get better service you deserve.

Enjoyable visit. Pity the tomato sauce on my wife's Chicken Parmesan was cold. This was changed and chef apologetic. Mentioned on payment but no discount offered for inconvenience.

Ordered the Mediterranean veg and pesto pizza and a garlic pizza with mozerella, very tasty and a great price too. Had outdoor seating so we could enjoy our food. Highly recommend and will 100% return. 👍

Our first visit when it first opened was great, but our return was not so good. Here are a few of the things we were disappointed with:
- The tables and chairs were dirty, good job we had baby wipes to clean what looked like old ketchup and grease off everything.
- Staff members not wearing masks in the height of a pandemic, and coming to our table without a mask on.
- The sharing platter was mainly a generous pile of leaves, with two extremely small bread rolls, a huge pot of butter and some old coleslaw. The olives were good.
- The kids DIY pizza was spicy. The tomato sauce and also the chorizo, shouldn’t have been spicy at all.

CoVid Takeaway: 2xMargherita Pizzas, BOTH UNDERCOOKED...with raw, uncooked dough inside on first-bite. Fortunately we were eating in the car-park thus took them back and asked for two more.

The next two were provided to us by a surly chef, clearly upset that we had returned her efforts. The latter two were burnt at the edges but still had patched of raw dough in the crust. That said, we were bored with going back and hungry thus we ate them, leaving the crusts.

For the price charged the product produced was poor.

Pre-CoVid we were regulars at Bumbellini's for sit down food and will probably return to this at that time.

Last night, it appeared that with the staff cooking only a small number of pizzas in CoVid time, they either didn't have the oven hot enough to cook well or had lost their skill of observing when a pizza was cooked. The first effort we received was far whiter and "anaemic" than should have been given to a paying client.

Disappointing. So unlike Banny's Fish & Chips that we visited last week and gave them a 5* review after!

Room for Improvement. Domino's Pizza better than Bumbellini's at the present time.

Good organisation. Lovely outdoor space!
Happy with limited menu.

Really poor bacon and sausage bap. Bland, cheap ingredients, poorly/ barely cooked.
Would be happy to have paid more for quality/ local ingredients- not mass catering sausage.
