previous version of the restaurant on this site.
Staff were incredible and very attentive. Despite the venue being very busy, you still felt like you were the only one in the venue when it came to attention by
the staff.
The décor and ambience was relaxing, tasteful and incredibly comfortable.
The menu was fantastic! Very simple and not overloaded as some Italian restaurants can be. It tasted very authentic and hit the spot in every way so compliments to the kitchen and menu curators
I’d say one of the best Italian restaurants in the area
I would highly recommend this venue if you’re in the area.
Highly recommend the ravioli cacio e pepe with black truffle, crab linguine, and mortadella, stracciatella cheese, pistachio pesto pizza.
A wonderful surprise was that they also make an awesome margarita, so do check out their cocktails too. Super central London location just off Marble Arch and Oxford Street, yet on a calm and quiet street. Will definitely be back to the Italian Greyhound again soon.
I recommend the Ravioli Cacio e Pepe with black truffle, Native Breed Rib Eye, and the Roasted Hake with King Prawn Risotto. The portions were good and you can definitely order a few dishes to share.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and I’m happy I got to try The Italian Greyhound. It’s underrated and I recommend you dine here if you’re looking for a no-frills Italian feast with family or friends.
From the best to the worst
1. Tortelli (those little dumplings) delicious, tender, perfectly cooked
2. Steak cooked as ordered with nice salsa on top but chickpea chips not so good.
3. Focacia
4. Chocolate cake - too sweet.
For this price i expected something more.
All the dishes were pre-ordered for us, comprised of a nice balance of shared plates. Most were good (not outstanding), but my stand-out favourites were the arancini and foccacia bread.
The restaurant's ambience was spacey, chic, and relaxed, with pleasant buzz of background chatter.
Service from the staff is jovial, informal, and responsive, interacting with an upbeat banter.
Overall, Italian Greyhound provided our company with the perfect environment for our gathering.
